It seems like it is 'waiting for an opportunity' or maybe more accurately as I've always interpreted, being good at something and present but not focusing on it all the time?

The mind can only handle concepts so non-beingness can't be understood.

Non-beingness can be experienced but the memories of it don't reflect the not-even-nothing. In some way nothingness is so it has a beingness.

      >memories of it
Non-being or nothingness has no "it"

It isn't a black void. It's complete no-thing. It's fundamentally impossible to imagine or experience.

Experiencing non-beingness is life altering, no one is the same after discovering it. We don't have a better word than "experiencing" and in any case dealing with this topic is more than paradoxical.

That is like a human being who traded their soul for power and is enslaved and has to offer up sacrificed to Satan lest they be taken themselves.

An absence of form, function or anything material or spacial. It's difficult to imagine, but not impossible. Complete non-being.

not being in your head. it means paying attention to the now-here. being fully involved in the moment, complete awareness of the situation or the moment. 99% of ppl are addicted to their mind drama. thinking about things, rethinking about things, talking to yourself inside, internal dialog...when one pays attention to inside matter and thoughts they are doing, whereas the warrior is not-doing but waiting.

It's lovely to see such commentaries of people who deem themselves as spiritual and or intelectual but fail on basic human experience. You can be a brother to a stranger. You can stop being a teacher. You can take care of children and be a father, you can take a DNA test and stop being family, you can be family despiste blood relations.
