China is a lot bigger than the HRE. Assuming that China never reunified after the Han odds are it would be less like the HRE and more like Europe in general.
    >Jurchen and Mongol states in the north
    >Uyghur states in the west
    >Tibet
    >Yue kingdoms in the South
    >Han state(s) in the north

Uyghurs are only in Xinjiang because a unified Chinese Empire moved them there. A China that never stayed unified wouldn't have Uyghurs.

They didn't have the WE MUST UNIFY autism at the start. Its just that the Warring States got more and more violent that every intellectual, noble, and even peasant believed that total victory by one of the states would lead to peace and stability.

    More unique countries
    More culture
    More soul
Instead of other ethnics being overshadowed by Han, the Manchus, Tibetans, Cantonese, etc. would have their own country, each with their own distinct culture and aesthetics

Say what you will about modern China, but it created something resembling a superpower that could compete with Western globalist hegemony
Having North Africa: Sinic Edition couldn't achieve this

        >honour killings in Uyghur land

Uyghurs were notorious for practicing temporary marriages of their women including to men of other ethnic groups, Uyghurs are the least likely to engage in this and they have the highest divorce rate among Muslims in China due to their history of temporary marriage.

      >More unique countries

They were all in one country you dumbass, it was like feudal France where everyone acknowledge the king.

The Shang dynasty and Zhou dynasty were single states with the Zhou king acknowledged as head of state and the feudal lords else as his lieges.

The Zhou fiefs later declared themselves kings during the Warring states but each one was fighting to become the supreme ruler of them all.

Also, Han expanded during this period, the kingdom of Dian was founded in Yunnan by a Chu general and the Yue/Minyue kings claimed descent from the Xia dynasty royal family and the Wu King claimed descent from the Zhou dynasty royal family.

The king of Shu in Sichuan claimed descent from a subject of Chu.

So Han people were still expanding into Baiyue areas during the feudal period. Chu itself was conquering Hunan (Chu originated in Henan and conquered Hubei and went south) and was entering Guangdong after it conquered Wu and Yue territories.

The former kings of Yue fled south from Zhejiang to Fujian.

      >Cantonese

Cantonese are a result of Han obliterating the Baiyue inhabitants of Guangdong.

Chinese "unity" and 5000 years of history is a lie. They count the multiple times that centuries were spent divided between like a dozen small kingdoms as part of it

China only has "5000 years of history" in the same way modern Iraq is a continuation of ancient Sumeria or Italy is the Roman Empire. The various "dynasties" that have ruled the general geographical area of modern China have had different religions, cultures, philosophies and ethnicities. If they are all the same continuous civilization then Ethiopia can claim to have an unbroken culture from Lucy the Australopithecine.

      Bullshit.

Even when China was fragmented into different states, they count political continuity from the state that reunified them moron, not the other states, during the Five dynasty and ten kingdoms period, the Song dynasty counted its political continuity and succession from the five dynasty, not the ten kingdoms it conquered.

China is literally continous in state structure unlike Roman empire to modern states in western Europe.

Each dynasty in China is a successor of a previous legitimate dynasty.

states in England have no sense of time or succession with each other.

Destruction and discontinuity of the of Roman empire while China survives

      https://desuarchive.org/his/thread/11937011/#q11940651

China has institutional continuity throughout multiple dynasties with the same government organs and employees and staff passing to the next dynasty from the former one and most dynasties were founded by hereditary nobles appointed by the preceding dynasty or other officials or officers of the preceding dynasty. The Qing was founded by a chief of the Ming created Jianzhou guard and appointed by the Ming emperor.

China also had permanent noble peerage and fiefs like the Kong family which lasted for 2,200 years to this day since every dynasty recognized them and they in turn recognized and gave political legitimacy and continuity. Kong family still hold sacrificial official to Confucius title.

Zero Roman noble families remain today with their peerages and titles.

Zero Roman institutions and government organs remain.

Spain has zero institutional continuity to the Visigothic kingdom.

let's see some Chinese families that existed 5000 years ago then

          Radiochan

Possibly 3000 years. Confucius was a descendant of the Duke of Song and his descendants became the Dukes of Yansheng, one of the few noble titles still recognized by the Republic of China. There were Roman families in the medieval period that claimed descent from Republican noble families and those families are still around today.

On topic, they might have had more progress like how Europeans did with warfare, but that doesn't mean that culturally they would be more advanced. Until about the 1600s Chinese technology was roughly as good as the "West."

Right. My point is that poster claimed that China has been continuous for 5000 years. They claimed Rome hasn't because we can't point to families that have been around since Rome that have their titles etc just as they did back then.
So that poster can surely provide a Chinese family in power today that had the same titles and power 5000 years ago. Otherwise their logic doesn't hold and 5000 years is a cope.

The chinese macroregion is a giant plain with easily navigable rivers, surrounded by jungles, oceans, steppes and mountains. It's naturally lead to unification, hence why it happened a lot of times
Now compare it with europe, filled with narrow terrains, unnavigable ribers, hills, isles and so on
