I don't remember any MDI programs in TempleOS

im pretty sure every window in templeos is inside its parent window. Its just that due to windows not being floating, it appears like a tiling window manager instead.

it never made any sense. if you have multiple windows what do you gain by restricting them to the space of one main window? the whole concept was incredibly retarded from the moment it was conceived

Yes it did you're just a dumb zoomer. Before docking it was incredibly annoying and tedious to have to manually position all of the sub windows for a program that had them

nobody who knows what mdi means is a zoomer retard. and organizing sub windows is exactly as tedious with and without mdi.

No it isn't fucking idiot. When you move the parent window all the child windows follow along. Without MDI you have to individually drag each child window the new location. The fact you don't understand this PROVES you are a dumb fuck zoomer, probably just turned 23 years old and think you're an adult.

you fucking moron, mdi was used at a time when monitors were 17 inch and 4:3. the only way to use any software complex enough to require multiple windows was maximized because the screens were too small to have several programs side by side. the fact that you don't understand that proves that you never used actually used mdi software.

First off that's just wrong, and even if it was true (which it isn't) then still shut the fuck up because you don't know what you're talking about:

it never made any sense. if you have multiple windows what do you gain by restricting them to the space of one main window? the whole concept was incredibly retarded from the moment it was conceived

              >if you have multiple windows what do you gain by restricting them to the space of one main window?
              > the only way to use any software complex enough to require multiple windows was maximized
SO WHICH IS IT? neither because you're fucking retarded. so shut the FUCK up

why even bother to reply if you are not going to say anything? if you have nothing to add then just don't say anything and stop wasting everybody's time retard

Imagine if websites adhered to MDI, you could minimize or close all the shit you don't care about and maximize the content you want. Most programs still have a fascimile of that sort of functionality just without the whole meta-skeumorphic window dressing.

The kind of shit that wintoddlers will put up with while decrying the smallest inconveniences you could find in troonix distros will never cease to amaze me. You homosexuals all have reddit-tier levels of cognitive dissnonance.
