What does the average /biztard think of our god and savior Arbitrum?
I wish they'd hurry the fuck up
im still patient on the developments, but it's been pretty hard considering all other major chains have already moved past this stage
what it offers is too tempting to pass so i remain waiting
Im pretty fucking excited to be completely honest. As a long time ethereum enthusiast i think the ecosystem has the chance to correct a lot of the major issues crypto is having as of late
It's not the end all be all but, it's still progress
Layer 2 rollups are the most exciting new tech in the blockchain space. They could solve the scaling problem that has plagued Ethereum and many other blockchains for years. I’m following closel, I think it has a lot of potential to change the way that we interact with and use with blockchain tech
it would be extremely disappointing if it fails
that guy has such a punchable face holy shit
You don’t even have to talk to people who look like that to know they’re contradictory, envious, smug fucks that act submissive and take pot shots at people who actually have their skin in the game. Bullying needs to make a comeback so fags like this can’t take photos like that without repercussions.
good as a short term investment
>LOCKS YOUR MONEY IN FOR 7 DAYS TO WITHDRAW
....
Someone tell me how putting your money on a layer 2 isnt a giant fucking risk and they could stop you taking your funds.
what is a crosschain swap? what is stargate? what is rubic? have you ever used a smartcontract?
I think you are confusing risk with fraud. Arbitrum is a legitimate business and would not lock your funds. However, I would consider the risk of putting your money in any coin or layer 2 to be very high but this is basic fucking knowledge even a toddler can know with 2 minutes research on google. However, if you are willing to lose the money, it may be worth the investment, there are certainly a lot of successful people who have been early in the crypto market and im betting a lot on arbi
This is an unregulated market and your money could be stolen or become unavailable at any time, the projects cite these things in the litepapers and it's availeable information, idk what you're expecting when you get what was advertised
Nice 2 year old FUD. There are tons of cheap, fast bridges now.
Even if the chain goes down you can recover your funds by interacting with the state published to ethereum
Until they decentralize the sequencer this shit is just Polygon but slower.
I can see this becoming the biggest problem with more advanced cryptocurrencies. If the majority of these sequencers were to collude it could be bad news for anyone invested in the chain. So far these sequencers have been pretty trustworthy but any form of centralized authority has the chance to be abused methinks. You should consider investing in Cosmos as it has a similar focus on speed and efficiency. If you are looking for a good staking asset with a solid APY I would consider ATOM, if you're into the reward-yield farming ecosystem HAMI just launched a couple of days ago. The technology is interesting and offers a lot of utility without being centralized like Polygon.
Im honestly comfy anon, bewildered and exhilarated, even
Just recently i put a good bag into hamachi finance (ticker HAMI) that just launched on arbitrum and holy fuck its like day and night, not only the launch mooned pretty good, but even the rewards work almost instantly (which shouldn't be so uncommon for yield farming but crypto is shitty af these days), community is active, devs are fast, it made me hopeful again
>HAMI
Im already a cultist
nagatetas
you missed:
>honey
>arbidoge
>partyhat
>nitroshib
>dice
idk if I've made or lost money on Arbitrum but I've had fun over the last couple years.
>>dice
dice is just starting though. most ridiculous chart i've seen in years, and v2's not even out yet
sure it is anon, sure it is. we're on the cusp of serec losing interest and dumping some more NFTs on us.
kek i don't blame you for saying this, but he actually has other people working on that stuff.
I wanted some exposure to L2s but I can't stand the bsc-style shitcoins, so I tried the DEX stategy ie find a native dex with a token that looked like it might become a major hub of volume. I found swapfish but it didn't come across as anything serious at all and just had 'partnerships' with low-quality memecoins. It's just cratered in price so I'm glad I dodged that.
I went into VELO on Optimism instead because it pretty much ticked every box, but I still want some exposure on Arbitrum because I think L2s are going to dominate next bullrun, so feel free to shill me anything that has potential. Doesn't have to be a dex farming protocol really just something made by a serious team that has longterm goals where I don't have to check the chart every day.
