they're countering what the americans when paying off states to send russian sourced weapons to ukraine. tldr: perfectly rational response viewed outside the tiresome, middle school 'cope cage' lens
That the final blow is coming. It's over for Ukraine, the gloves are coming off and there will be peacetalks by the coming spring initiated by Ukraine.
Based.
Russia has 22,000 mi.2 of Ukrainian land and counting.
Russia currently (2023) produces more ammunition and shells than the entirety of NATO coalition countries combined.

Both sides in the war have been using mainly Soviet-model weapons. Indeed, Ukraine's main battlefield successes occurred before it began using a large fraction of NATO model weapons. What does it prove?
So, Russia allegedly offers to take back 150 Russian-made helicopter engines from Egyptian warehouses in exchange for forgiving Egyptian payment arrears, and some will try to imply that this is a sign of Russia doing badly. It seems to me it is a sign that Russian helicopters are so busy flying and shooting at the enemy (and surviving the encounter) that they are gradually wearing out their engines faster than Russian engine production can keep up. And that the Russians expect Egypt to pay for goods received or to hand it back.
Meanwhile, the US makes other countries give their own weapons to Ukraine for free and "borrows" hundreds of thousands of shells from South Korea. What is that a sign of?
How about this: Russia is buying weapons from countries which have almost no domestic weapons manufacturing and typically purchase most of their weapons from Russia. Is that true or not? or you just don't believe Russia is buying weapons from these countries at all?
