What do you think the world would be like if we ceased to exist?

What do you think the world would be like if we ceased to exist? Aside from wild foliage and insects, what would species would be the dominant force?

If I don't exist then by definition I don't care. However, for the sake of conversation let's assume somehow I do, and that by "we" you mean humans. We already know that non-human physical and/or spiritual beings interact with us. Some interact with us directly and purposefully (deities, demons, pets, wildlife, etc) whereas others either don't interact with us or only do so inadvertently (shadowpeople, fairies, mosquitos, viruses, etc). If we humans just disappeared one day, some of those beings would undoubtedly notice. The one's who have specialized to interact with us will be forced to adapt to some other species or perish. For example, animals like dogs and cats would go feral and compete with their wild counterparts. It's reasonable to assume demons would share a similar fate, wreaking havok on other sapient species like elephants and chimps through infestation and possession. Some kinds of demons would undoubtedly die out, like the ones who specialize in inflicting misery on the faithful. Fairies are like squirrels, they don't need us and they never did so they would probably forget we ever existed as soon as we were gone. It's hard to say if the deities we worship would die out or just bide their time until a new species evolved to contemplate existence. Chimps are good candidates but would require the same conditions that promoted our evolution (scarcity of trees combined with bipedalism, predators to steal bones from). Parrots and elephants are somewhat suitable but they are migratory grazers, making an increase in brain size unlikely. Dolphins and seals seem more likely since we pressured them to be more intelligent by destroying their habitats while slaughtering them in droves, but unless they grow some kind of manipulating limb they'd never get beyond their current level of tool use. Octupuses may just fit the bill, they are highly capable tool makers and users. If they could extend their lifespans, who knows.

Almost forgot, cryptids like bigfoot, dogmen, and ayys would be the most likely to dominate since they are interdimensional beings with intelligence far surpassing humans. That said, if they evolved before us then they must not need to dompete for the same resources like other animals.

These are the species of non-human persons that could replace us. Fungi reign supreme over every other lifeform as far as the sheer tenacity for survival. The only threat they face is another Iceball Earth or planetary collision, which doesn't seem likely. All it would take for us to go is a genocidal species, be they alien or ourselves, or more probably an asteroid/supervolcano.

Gee anon, I don't fucking now. How was the world for like 99.99% percent of its existence? Literally hundreds of millions of years? Can't imagine tbh.
