Why do you care about our opinion? Are you honestly that pathetic.
why be dicks for no reason? sure, this is IQfy, but you might at least try to say something constructive—are there versions of these books that you think are better? or perhaps you might question why he chose those books, or what his else is in his collection, or even whether he might have gotten them cheaper elsewhere.
being so motivelessly bitter and c**ty to someone just trying to talk about something they're interested in is fricking pathetic.
>tfw bought Norton Critical Paradise Lost for like 3 or 4 bucks in local money (would be 4 but I got a discount for buying more books) just one town away from where I live
>buying full priced books
why?
you can find both those books used for like $2 a pop
I live in Japan so finding these books in stores is impossible.
don't they have any second hand marketplace websites in Japan? I live in Poland and out of 22 books in English that I have only 3 were ordered from abroad (two from bongland, one from germany, both books from bongland I could buy locally but I didn't like the editions)

Anne of Green Gables is quite bad and childish, while lacking the charm and weirdness of something like Lewis Carroll.
Stoner is okay.
I read Alice in wonderland and was awful. Anne is definitely better
