Would that northern chilean region instantly become a developed country if that happened?

For Brazilian standards the Oeste Paulista is a very nice place to live. Probably most of the best cities in Brazil are located there. This region grew out of coffee farming and used to produce around 70% of this product in the world. Regarding the ethnic composition, around 2/3 are white and 1/3 are pardo or of another race according to the latest census.

Where I live people know very little about South America. In an ideal world Australia and New Zealand would have a close relationship with Ecuador, Peru and Chile since they all border the South Pacific and are in the Southern Hemisphere. But the language barrier is too much

There are no pyramids in the rainforest you dummy, those "Super mega ancient cities found in the Amazon Rainforest!!!!!" clickbait articles you see are pretty much always talking about earthen mounds and maybe remains of walls, usually in the part of the Amazon that perhaps not so coincidentally borders the Andes, you know where all the civilized south American indios live.

Catholicism im Brazil will die son

The expectation is that by 2030 the number of Protestants will equal that of Catholics, but it is not traditional/historical Protestantism, it is Pentecostal Protestantism. My parents are from a Pentecostal church and they force me to go, I can say with certainty, most of them only care about the music (which is just emotionalism) and they know absolutely nothing, they don't have the ability to reason about any subject, it's even a little sad that Christianity in Brazil has become this
