What are some music genres that have turned into kino by fusing with anime? Besides drum n bass, of course. Posted on May 21, 2023 by Anonymous What are some music genres that have turned into kino by fusing with anime? Besides drum n bass, of course.
anime turns every single genre it touches worse. the only decent music to come out of anything even vaguely anime adjacent is those Toho Bossa Nova albums
This, only real exceptions are BGM and Power Metal which while always more than slightly dorky basically stayed about the same in quality. Dragonlance is what really caused Euroshit Black Metal to become Cringe and Japanese Power Metal seems relatively better even. Not better BECAUSE of anime as much as that it still follows 80s Hard Rock Tropes though.
>anime turns every single genre it touches worse
this is so false lmao
It's really not bro.
Fpbp as always
What does this mean? Keep seeing people posting it.
First post bad post.
Ahh alright,thank you.
rude and false
You don't understand the concept of "kino",you're just miming things you heard other people say or saw in memes.
We don't use that word 'round here, tourist.
except you do, because it's a quintessential LULZspeak
Oneohtrix Point Never had something cool going into R+7, but from then on all "internet" music has been boring shit with an anime girl slapped on it.
I tried listening to sewerslvt while running the other day and it was so low energy and boring compared to OG shit off of metalheadz or blueprint. Not sure how you’re supposed to dance to high energy breakbeats if there’s five minutes of interludes and whoosing noises bookending each song
i like listening to anime girls do ai rap covers but that's it, and that's forcing them to speak in english.
That's literally just a anime girl thrown over a relatively normal and relatively popular song though, essentially proving that le heckin epic post breakcore hyperlink genres aren't actually any good.
yeah that was my point lol, it's only bearable because i've started to find female rapping bearable and the novelty of a jap voice singing perfect english has become an ear worm for me.
I'm prettysure Math Rock etc from Japan is popular in the pacific northwest and Midwest despite the anime shit because it soundsime Grunge and kinda gives off druggie vibes too. It's like very not really related to shit like Breakcore and other forms of The Chungus Arts either as much as it is to Alice in Chains.
There's an entire wing of grindcore, goregrind and brutal death metal with anime album covers and samples.
(and I wouldn't really call it an internet phenomenon since bands have been doing it since the 90s).
Yeah but these albums tend to suck. You never see them in the lists etc. Grindcore also kinda sucks generally speaking.
holy FUCK that's a metal album cover, that would get you banned on pretty much every anime board on here.
>Besides drum n bass, of course.
nothing, anime is cringe
you are a retard and i am going to kill you now
