      >so financially braindead he thinks everyone carries balances on their credit cards.
it’s all about those statement credits and reward points.

based. i have the same card and its pure kino getting that sweet points bonus offer and 5x on restaurants

you really cant be that stupid.

literally the only way credit cards are bad is if you carry the balance. in fact if you set aside money you already have to autopay it every month its no different than a debit card, only that you get perks and bonuses

only brainlets actually carry a cc balance and would be afraid of a hecking card lmao

This, I’ve gotten over $10k in credit card rewards over my lifetime, that’s free money because I have never once carried a balance over 0% APR. I do take advantage of some 0% offers and put them on autopay to be completely paid off by the time the offer ends, but only for large purchases I had planned like stuff for my house, vacations, or luxury watches.

I have 2 Amex for business and they definitely are good looking. Honestly though, I just use Apple Pay in person. The true /fashion/ credit card is convenience.

I have the sapphire reserve and I think it’s a better card bonus-wise than Amex platinum, but the platinum is weightier and better looking.

Annual fee hecks me and benefits are absolutely not worth it but oh well.
Customer support is 11/10 and it’s extremely /fashion/ at least.

It looks sketchy, post the back part where the customer support is stamped covering them digits.
Plus you can pick among a number of designs, if you didn’t get to pick it’s one more reason to be suspicious.

Why even have it then, normies are amazed by either of the gold or platinum amex anyways since its a still metal card.
heck I even had someone lose their shit over the Apple Card (I always give that one out at bards bc it has no numbers or security codes just my name) and that one is free.

I always get a mean look from the cashier at thrift stores whenever I pay with my amex gold, what the heck?

Do you guys know how travel cards work? Are they really just going to let me fly for free if I get enough points?

    • Anonymous says:

Yeah, I have the Reserve by chase and they give me $300 for anything travel (knocking down the $550 anual fee to $250) plus more shit like points that are worth way more than cash back so I always come on top. Plus all the other shit they give you like free door dash and access to airport lounges and more shit

Don’t let anual fees scare you if you actually do travel.

  5. Anonymous says:

    >250 dollars annual fee

who the heck pays that much for a credit card? do you get free shit or something?

    • Anonymous says:

In Europe at least you get like 4 "free" lounge accesses per year (value somewhere around $100) with the gold card. So no it isn’t really worth it compared to the regular green card.

    • Anonymous says:

the amex gold comes with $240 worth of statement credits ($10 a month for dining, $10 a month for uber), so if you actually make good use of it, it’s a $10 annual fee and you get all of the other point benefits.

  6. Anonymous says:

all other credit cards look like complete dogshit compared to the Apple card, which is free
if you pay fees for your credit card you must be stupid

    • Anonymous says:

      Small brain move
An annual fee is made so small spenders (ie a poorgay like you) go with something more basic, if you actually don’t make up by using all the benefits and credits, then yeah I can see why you think its stupid, but for anons that travel and spend money, its a no brainer.
Also, there’s far better free CC than the Apple Card, I seriously hope you only use it to buy Apple shit and the few merchants that give you 3% back.

Platinum is a great card, but Gold suits my lifestyle more so I downgraded to it. Amex is great I’ve been a member for a long time

    >tfw only time I get to use the metal cards are in restaurants
Apple Pay is just too convinient.

Also, Apple made a nice looking card but made sure you never use the real card ever.

    Fun fact
Amex Platinum cards are two pieces of metal stuck together (or were, my new one isn’t). Apparently, cocaine will get stuck all up in there when you chop it up. I probably had a gram of blow stuck inside my old Platinum card.

Ive got both, has been mentioned several times whenever i whip them out, normies mire
However, theyre NOT worth it unless you really travel or eat out a lot. And if thats the case youre already burning money on shit you dont need (unless its for work and youre getting it comped)
I only got both to get the fat signup bonuses because i had a big tax bill this year

    • Anonymous says:

I never got why Amex is ok if you have gold and plat but chase doesn’t let you have both preferred and reserve

    Current rotation is:
    >Shitty starter Capitol One card
No annual fee, my longest-lasting line of credit so I need to keep it going. Just keep it in a drawer.

    >Amex Gold
Main points earning card, use it for groceries and eating out, plus the monthly credits makes it a good card.

    >Chase Freedom Unlimited
No annual fee, great for the drug store, want to maintain my Ultimate Rewards account without having to pay another high annual fee. Will consider a Sapphire if I get a good offer, though.

    >Wells Fargo Active Cash
    2% cashback for everything else
