Try getting higher waist pants. Those pants make your torse look elongated and pronounces your belly. Nice boots and concept though.

They are 501s so not really skinny. The boots have a strap or something missing from the top so they flare out in a way that makes jeans not fit. I think I will put another eyelet in them.

Maybe I do have a long torso, heck why did no one tell me all my life.
I think some of it is the mirror and phone lens. I have not noticed it in group photos before. I avoid low rise stuff, I have 1 pair of high rise trousers that I love, soaybe that’s it

would look better with this fit but the jacket still has that bizarre nuLevi’s look, the "vintage" buttons on the jacket are like a group of asylum seekers fighting the one shiny white guy button on your pants.

      • Anonymous says:

        >group of asylum seekers fighting the one shiny white guy button on your pants.
        Kek
Yeah, maybe the belt would help hide that button too. The modern type 3 is a poor fit compared to the 70s one I have, it’s got some "sick" fades and is almost white at this stage, but it’s a proper belt line fit, they all seem oversized now and sizing down means the sleeves are too short

A simple fit but very well put together, both the color palette and the shilouette work pretty nice. Understated but with some thought behind it.

The colors work pretty well, but I would strongly suggest wearing some straight or straight tapered jeans instead of slim fit. Hate to rain on your parade, but slim fit is just awful

        >I would strongly suggest wearing some straight or straight tapered jeans instead of slim fit. Hate to rain on your parade, but slim fit is just awful
I think the main reason why you don’t understand my based prettyboy swagger is you haven’t listened to enough Lil B. I strongly recommended getting started with his mixtapes Blue Flame, Red Flame, and 6 Kiss

          • Anonymous says:

If it’s about “being true to yourself”, it seems pretty obvious that your jeans aren’t the right fit for you. Anybody here would agree that a straight fit would look better on you

          • Anonymous says:

Anything that isn’t going to be as tight as what you’re currently wearing would be better. All I said was that your colors work pretty well, but your jeans are obviously too tight. I’m not saying go full zoomer baggy mode, but wearing something with a little more room would look objectively better even if you have skinny legs

          • Anonymous says:

wearing something with a little more room would look objectively better even if you have skinny legs
do you know what the word objectively means? there is nothing objective about what you think of skinny jeans

          • Anonymous says:

In general fashion consensus, the overwhelming majority of people (fashion snobs included) would agree that wearing straight fit pants or at least having some level of relaxation in the legs looks way better than a skinny fit, so much so that it is basically a law of nature. So yeah, you can make your gay, subjective relativist argument, but heck all that shit because my opinion might as well be objective truth

          • Anonymous says:

Sometimes I wish this board wadn’t anonymous. That way I could laugh at you with 100% certainty in a year or two when the fashion trends shift again and you start advocating for slim fits as objetively looking better with the same zeal you’re showing now.
Like most of this board did a few years ago when it was slim or nothing.

          • Anonymous says:

The irony of what you just said is that straight fit jeans literally never go out of style. The only things that shift to and fro with volatile fashion trends are baggy and skinny/slim cut jeans. You’re obviously not trying to go for the whole “rockstar” fit, so there’s no reason for you to not wear something that would actually be more well balanced and modest. Ask anyone in real life if there’s anything about your fit that sticks out like a sore thumb and all of them would agree that it’s how tight your gay ass jeans are lol. Even apart from all the fashion arguments, wearing straight fit jeans actually makes sense in a utility/function sense; you’re not putting too much tension in the denim from it being too tight, therefore giving you better crotch mobility and preventing premature fabric blowouts. I’m actually just doing you a solid favor telling you all this. Your fit checks out with everything, but the thing that cannot be overlooked in fashion is how well your clothes fit and match your body type. You can wear well-coordinated colors or have some really well-made selvedge denim, but if the fit isn’t perfect for your own respective body type (which yours aren’t if they’re as skinny as what you’re wearing), then it’s a no go.

          • Anonymous says:

anon I laughed out loud once I got to the part where you argue about crotch mobility. the guy you are replying to is some other based genius, not me.
            >You’re obviously not trying to go for the whole “rockstar” fit, so there’s no reason for you to not wear something that would actually be more well balanced and modest
I don’t really understand why you can’t comprehend the concept of personal preference. it shouldn’t take much brainpower to figure out that "well balanced" and "modest" is not what I like. plenty of my wardrobe is rockstar-adjectent as well so you are extra wrong.
Ask anyone in real life if there’s anything about your fit that sticks out like a sore thumb and all of them would agree that it’s how tight your gay ass jeans are lol.
there are way more people who like skinny jeans than you realize. the people in my life simply don’t think the way you describe.
            >I’m actually just doing you a solid favor telling you all this.
I don’t benefit in any way from some shut-in gay loser like you lecturing me on what other people like, as if you would know

None of what you said stops you from looking like a total gay. Bro, just take a step back and realize how hecking gay those jeans are, they’re too hecking tight. You’re also not by any means very attractive either so you can’t really rely on any natural beauty to help you to be able to pull it off. You naturally have the dweeb look, better to lean into what you actually are instead of trying to emulate SoundCloud rappers and lil B nonsense

they fit my legs perfectly. if they were any tighter that actually would be too tight but these are just right. I love these pants. girls probably think I have a cute butt tbh
            >You’re also not by any means very attractive either so you can’t really rely on any natural beauty to help you to be able to pull it off
I have a strong jaw, good eyebrows, green eyes with a touch of heterochromia (my left eye has some brown on the top) good nose, decently thick lips, thick wavy hair, tastefully oversized forehead etc I have plenty of natural beauty. I think you might be slightly out of touch with what women find attractive btw based on what you’ve said so far

I’m not that guy. I’m just tired of this board’s absolute statatements that are actually trend based and will change in a year or two while the posters show an infuriating lack of awareness about it.
Not too long ago you’d be laughed at for wearing straight fits and called dadcore (back when dadcore wasn’t cool) and anything north of slim was considered old people clothes. Straight fits were definitely out of style. Now it’s the opposite, anything tighter than straight is for older out of touch millennials and laughable. If any, straight jrans are thexsafe choice for those who don’t want to go too far into the relaxed or baggy trend.
Which is fine by me, I don’t care, but the way these trends are threated as timeless absolutes bugs me. Perhaps it shouldn’t, but it does.

          • Anonymous says:

            >the overwhelming majority of people (fashion snobs included) would agree
you’re wrong. skinny jeans were extremely popular not very long ago and they will have a resurgence in the near future. its super gay deciding what is acceptable to wear based on whats currently popular

Daring colors. I would like to see it with a jacket, looks incomplete the way it is. Also, please iron your shirt

Everything matches and the colors compliment each other. Good job

    I like it. Good colors

Pretty good but the belt is worn. The best way to describe the general look is "clean" and the worn belt really contrasts with that.

That’s not a fit. That’s a coat and some stock photos

Wow this is bad, but I do not have the vocab to explain why. The only thing I can call out is the tie matching the pocket square.

Denver Hayes. It says "style #: P9540" and its 100% cotton. I hope it helps, because my gf thrifted it and Idk anything else about it.

the pockets are awful on that jacket, very distracting. And for the love of the lawd stop matching your pocket square with your tie, it looks like your mommy dressed you.

Something is off about the tiebar too. It’s either too long or too thick, not sure what but your fit would look better without it, I think.

The cut is ok overall, but i dislike slim lappels like this. This blazer is out of style but could work in a 1950s inspired fit.
Also, the different patterns don’t go well together. Still, that’s a 6/10 in my book.

Thanks for the critique. I defo agree with the lapels being comically slim and a plain shirt would have probably worked better

      This one is worse, pattern-wise.

Too many clashing patterns. It was my first time putting together a fit with that jacket and I was rushed for time. Not my proudest work but I’ll find my footing with it eventually

Cool, but lose the Rolex shopping bag ffs. And I don’t care what anybody says, I like tshirts over long sleeve. Not sure if you should iron the tops, or keep it not ironed on purpose.

      >not good, cool bits bad combo, matchup matchy
this is somehow the most stupid post I’ve read all thread, how can you not think all of these things go together? people were literally wearing skinny jeans with minimal leather shoes, a flannel, and a graphic tee for YEARS, because it looks good. the colors were carefully selected and have strong synergy. I can’t think of a single thing I like about your outfit btw heck you

my son, you dress like a high schooler in 2010 (not good). literally read the sticky. look at the other feedback and you’re mad at me hahahaha. the colours don’t have synergy, they match like you’re a the stupid can’t-skate power ranger. update your mindset before posting newfag

        >my son, you dress like a high schooler in 2010
my outfit is clearly more late 2010s coded
        >look at the other feedback and you’re mad at me hahahaha
most of the negative feedback you’re referring to is pretty generic and the same every thread. yours is especially stupid but you refuse to self reflect and ask why you did something wrong
        >the colours don’t have synergy, they match like you’re a the stupid can’t-skate power ranger
your garbage outfits would benefit a lot from this: https://www.colorsexplained.com/color-theory/
        >update your mindset before posting newfag
I have literally been posting in WAYWT since 2018. Are you saying I have a mindset problem because I don’t accept all of the shitty advice? if anything it would be newfags that would be more susceptible to actually listening to these cretins. I know from experience that they have nothing valuable to tell me. I know what looks good and I know what I like already, so any "replace x with y" advice has no purpose. there’s just no point in wearing something you like less.

holy heck. that has to be one of the worst jackets I’ve seen on this board. those lapels are hecking anorexic bro, and the black trim on the pockets aren’t helping. bin it and get something at least 3 inches wide.
