>he doesn't idle his car for 20 minutes waiting for the rpms to drop below 1k
>he doesn't like a lil' redline for a good time
It will probably never do more than 30k miles so who cares
kek why the fuck is it that supercars and exotic mobiles seem to be such piles of crap?
The faggy owners of exotics can't put miles on them because it's value would drop like a rock, you can do it, but you will lose money on the car instead of retaining value or even going up, which is the point of an exotic, it's something you can drive, but a store of value.
actually maybe you're right on that one
Most car youtubers know actual jack shit about cars and have some of the most piss poor driving/operating habits imaginable
Granted so does most this board but I don't make my living on cars
Supercars in general have bad reliability.
People who own them dont have the time to put serious miles on it and they usually dont let other people drive it.
Also speed limits. Supercars are cop magnets. You will get pulled over when you are slightly over the limit.
Useless when traveling because you can barely take anything with you.
Something like an AMG S class is far better when you want to use it to get places. Supercars are toys for big boys.
>watching a motorcycle or car exhaust video
>they don't Rev it out at all
WHY DID YOU WASTE MY TIME AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH
>open automotive video
>nagger music starts playing
Ayyy and it's on almost every vid, too.
OH YEAH WOW LISTEN TO THAT EXHUST THAT SOUNDS SO GOOD OH MY GOD WOW THATS SO LOUD
>plays short clip giving it maybe half the revs and with royalty free mumble moan shit over the engine sound
It's possible that they warmed the car up off-camera so that it would be already warm for your simp clip.
>he thinks youtubers might have any respect for things
You're sweet, Anon

jesus
water temp is about 75C, oil temp is about the same, that car has been run before hand. still a wanker for just revving a car, most nobbish thing you can do
Yeah, that's a little stupid.
But is it any worse than immediately driving it and putting the load from propelling 1-3 tons of metal onto the engine?
Also I don't think the oil being cold is an issue so much as the expansion of different metals in various parts of the engine. You've got wonky tolerances when the engine is cold; the oil is still flowing.
>But is it any worse than immediately driving it and putting the load from propelling 1-3 tons of metal onto the engine?
from the sound of the diesel in one of the sales guys' camrys here at work who revs it to 5k rpm on cold crank and comparing it to another who babies his until it goes warm? yeah it's much worse lol
>But is it any worse than immediately driving it and putting the load from propelling 1-3 tons of metal onto the engine?
It is, higher performance engines run a 5W30 all the way to 10-60 oil, an economy car runs like 0W-20 weight water oil, now I'm not saying go start up a Civic and start redlining it, but putting under light throttle and load will not hurt it, but those higher performance engines with the race bred oil, I would give ti a few.
>higher performance engines run a 5W30
today i learned that my eco eggbox has a high performance race engine with race bred oil
5W-30 isn't race oil Anon, Lmaoborghini specs that as the normal oil for a V12, alot of engines do, and it's a fine oil for daily usage, but you wouldn't want to be on the track, beating on it with high temperatures, you would want a 40 weight or higher in there on a track day, but there are reasons to be running 5W-30 or lighter on a high strung car if the temps drop, that is way it's the specified oil for normal usage.
exotic = italian = italian tuneup
