Uh...no. If you even want to compare it to something similar, American Idiot comes out far on top.

How so? Jesus Of Suburbia is a fucking anthem. Letterbomb, Give Me Novacaine, Whatsername, shit. So many great songs. And I'm not even mentioning the big ones like Holiday or Boulevard.

I prefer three cheers to american idiot but american idiot was the bigger record and had a bit more of a (even if it was pretty watered down) teenage dystopic message that landed with a lot of the generation's teens, three cheers is super fun but at the end of the day it's 13 songs about what essentially amounts to a tarintino movie about a dude killing 100 people to get his wife back after making a deal with the devil
which is awesome and i love it, it's just not really the same in core message

I understand and respect your opinion. With a similar theme in mind, my favorite MCR song somes to mind. Demolition Lovers.

definitely in my top five of theirs. almost post-rock like

i wish they did more long tracks tbh, their post-five minute ones are the best

legitimately what do you mean by this, my drunk ass is having trouble parsing it

Three cheers has a lot of songs I really like but I don't really hate any songs so I had to be selective in the list, I really liked in the end, you know what they do to guys like us in prison, and cemetery drive.

same tbh, it's hard ranking their tracks because they all meant so much to me when i was young and still hold up for the most part, but i'm a rabid three cheers stan
if you're deranged enough i could rank every one of their songs, they're legit my 4th favorite artist of all time and i dedicate a lot of time to my top ten since i have no life
i understand if you dont tho aint nobody got time for that kek

just three cheers or the whole discography

I don't wanna put you through the pain of rating the whole discography, especially considering how many unrelated singles like every snowflake is different just like you and desolation row there are. Just three cheers is fine.

it would be a pleasure to do the whole discog but in ascending order
                >interlude
                >this jetset life is gonna kill you
                >hang 'em high
                >thank you for the venom
                >give 'em hell kid
                >i never told you what i do for a living
                >the ghost of you
                >you know what they do to guys like us in prison
                >i'm not ok (i promise)
                >helena
                >cemetery gates
                >to the end
                >it's not a fashion statement, it's a fucking deathwish

they're great but they don't compare to the rest of the album imo
even interlude is a solid 8 in my book
                what's your ranking

can't argue except i think give 'em hell kid has an inexorable energy so i rate it higher but this is still pretty based and mcrpilled
helena is the single of the decade

                1) disenchanted
                2) Helena
                3) thank you for the venom
                4) Kill all your friends
                5) vampires will never hurt you

this is an excellent list but for me it's
                >5 - Honey This Mirror Ain't Big Enough
                >4 - Disenchanted
                >3 - The Kids From Yesterday
                >2 - Famous Last Words
                >1 - It's Not A Fashion Statement It's A Fucking Deathwish

i would say taking back sunday was by far the top of emo back then. hawthorne heights is maybe number 2

Brand New is infinitely better than TBS but the first two TBS records are solid 8s
Slow Dance On The Inside still fucks me up and I still scream along to Cute Without The E

You are all wrong and this is coming from a Nu-Metal enjoyer, so take this with a grain of salt.

The best album of the 2000s is Runnin' Wild by Airbourne (I have yet to meet a person who does not like this album). Followed by maybe Every Six Seconds (though Doperide sucked ass) by Saliva.

No not even close, but it is a incredibly fun pop punk record that has more punk than usual pop punk and is also MCR’s best

Half of everybody in America was still recovering from 9/11 and their dads were dying for something Bush did. Everyone was angry, insecure homosexuals like that were the same people who listened to AC/DC and saw no problem with listening to the exact same song with different titles. Punching someone that has different music tastes than you is the most pathetic and embarrassing shit ever.
