Was lewa carrying them?

I mean it was kinda stupid of them to let their no9 go and then not bring in a new no9. Mane has never been a traditional striker. You can’t spend years playing one way, then flip to a different system, and not expect some bumps along the way.

They bought some young ngubu as a 9. Tel or something like that.

Nagelsman didn't want to play with a classic #9. He wanted some total football, quick pace reinventing he wheel nonsense with players like Sane, Mane & Gnabry.
So yes, Lewy was. He bailed them out when they needed bailing out so they didn't drop points against shitters.

if I'm not mistaken, bayern always underperform in the bundes before and after cl games and this year the cl games are all very close together

They fell for the ingubu propaganda meme. Can only hope they crash and burn

This. Thier signings for the last two years have been laughable. Saw this coming from a mile away. Overpaid for Hernandez, de Ligt, bought a bunch of Ngubus, too numerous to even mention. Lost Alaba, Süle for nothing. Got little for Lewandowski, Thiago.
The management are irresponsible gamblers, not team builders.

They didn't look convincing at all against Barcelona. They were bullied for large stretches, in fact I think if you put Elche's or Eibar's flags in the stands then Lewandowski and Pedri wouldn't have choked and they would be 2-3 up in the first half.

The 4-2-2-2 at the beginning of the season worked very well. The problem for Nagelsmann is that in this system too many influential players end up sitting on the bench. Goretzka, new high potential signing Gravenberch, and two out of Sane, Musiala, Coman and Mueller. Nagelsmann doesn't have the standing and authority to mediate these conflicts within the squad, so he had to change his tactical approach and switch formations to accommodate everyone. But now he's in deep shit, because the 4-2-2-2 is his trademark system and absolute favorite and he's less versed in other tactical approaches. Which becomes evident in the results and the quality of football shown. It's a real Catch-22 and he won't remain Bayern coach much longer unless he pulls some kind of miracle rabbit out of his hat.

      >The problem for Nagelsmann is that in this system too many influential players end up sitting on the bench
Isn't it the the same with classical 4-2-3-1?
Against Frankfurt Sabitzer, Kimmich, Musiala, Muller, Mane and Gnabry played. Against Barcelona in 4-2-3-1 the same players except Sane for Gnabry started.

    yes, he was.
the best example - loss against PSG in Champions League in 2021. Lewy was injured few days prior in a match Poland vs Andorra because the retard coach let him play.
This is why Lewy is worth more than Mane, Mandzukic, Olic, Elber etc etc for Bayern

Somewhat, but less because of Lewa being extremely special and more because of him being an actual striker roaming around in the box. Nagelsmann is one of these autistic new generation managers who think they have to reinvent the game, and he seems strikers unnecessary. And now he’s paying the price. Lewandowski was a great fit for the old system and he is a very good player, but Bayern could play with any decent striker and it would be better than what they have now. There are others but Lewandowski who could do it. Nagelsmann needs to get his shit together

Nagelsmann has nothing to with this. The management sells and buys players. They pissed Lewandowski off to begin with. They are incompetent.

as a Bayern fan since 1993
this unironically, it really took off in the past few years
before that you always had like 2-3 at most in niche positions
today the team is centered around the mutts and ngubus
