Want to see something crazy?

The local council in my town lowered the speed limit in built up areas to 40km/h so i thought i should see how my hotted up ls1 powered god machine handles this kind of situation when it comes to fuel usage.
>23l/100km (10mpg)
kek
are lowered speed limits because of idiots on their phones really doing this much damage?
Thats about 8l/100km more than i would use if the speed limit was 50km/h.

Prius uses as much fuel per 100km as my motorcycle while cositng 4x as much and decreasing in value the entire time i own it instead of increasing in value?
why would i buy a prius?

My stock standard LS1 powered sedan gets 14l/100km on the same roads, i ain't mad, what?
You want me to drive my ford laser because it gets an entire 10l/100km on these same roads with its 1.8 litre engine? kek

Here is what a 219/227 Crow cam sounds like through stock standard exhausts

Now imagine what the car in the OP sounds like with 2.5 inch extractors linked to a 3 inch straight system with 3 resonators, talk about snap crackle pop.

      Electric motors

Doesn't really matter because at high speeds wind resistance uses even more energy.
Which is why EV distance records, like the Model 3 that was driven 600 miles, are set driving slowly but consistently.

Can use 3rd gear at 50km/h, 40km/h is all 1st and 2nd rarely.

Hows this city boi, at 130km/h my super unsustainable v8 car uses 8l/100km, why can't we go faster?

        Anonymous

problem with big engines is economy in heavy city traffic. V8 can easily go up to 30l/100km in heavy commuter traffic.

          Anonymous

So slow fricks should take public transport and get off the road for superior specimens who own a v8 so the v8 owners can enjoy the road.

    >are lowered speed limits because of idiots on their phones really doing this much damage?
probably old farts and people who never spend a significant amount of time behind the wheel who cant drive for shit and think all roads urban and rural should be 40 at all times.
There's a section of road here that has had roadworks for what feels like a year now, there's signs everywhere saying '60 road work' but everyone does 40 anyway. At least it has a radar speed sign in both directions. My highest score was 75, I'm not sure if my speedo reads 5 more than my actual speed, or if the radar sign is just being conservative lol

2.0L vegana tfsi from 2016 goes into 5th gear on automatic with 50km/h limit doing 1000-1200 rpms

Well I can hear it gurgle a bit when in 5th gear and downshift delay is kinda long. It wants to stay there.
Sport mode keeps it above 2k and light touches spin the wheels. Not something you want in bumper to bumper morning commute. Regarding blow ups can't really find anything excesive for 2L gen3. Not that im worried.

why the frick you obey such a low speed limit? That's literally not even 25mph. To put it in perspective, the roads near my neighborhood are all 40-45mph....it only slows down to 25mph in the school zones and only during certain hours. Your speed limit is even lower than that
