i honestly dont know how some people even survive financially. i make $80k/yr and do freelance work which brings me into six figures. all i can really do is consooom more often. but ill never be able to afford a house. rent is insane.
I don’t know how you spend $80k in a year. Wife and I combined make about $200k and we spend at most $60k. Own a home outright, 2 paid off cars, newish gaming PCs, eat out once a week and have an old dog we plow cash into for her medical stuff.
What the fuck are you people doing that you spend so much money?
The median spend for an American household is about $60k per year. This isn't anything fancy just basic life shit. That more than covers an 80k salary after taxes with zero room for savings left over
>Grocery store grunt >$8/hour >20 hours a week on a good day >ESOP but don't get enough hours to actually get anything >work really hard despite the pay and hours and receive no bonuses or raises whatsoever
Love my coworkers and the owners are really nice but fuck man.
Bingo. Although instead of a small town it's a small city. Also I should mention that the grocery store is easily the most successful grocery store in said city so it's not like I'm working for a mom and pop place.
I make $20 an hour as an accountant. It's embarrassing so I don't tell people, but once I finish my CPA testing I'm switching companies, while I wait for my license. The only good thing is that I'll have 2-3 years of experience doing actual work so I can demand more at my next job
I've done almost no work since June and study for my licensing exams on company time. If I had to do actual work I would've quit once I reached my experience requirement for licensing
>only
why would you want to work more than 30 hours a week? honestly anything more than 20 is too much
I make more in 8 hours than you make in one week. Ouch
You make over $500 in 8 hours? Doing what?
I'm OP. I was at the gym when I posted. I manage a pharmacy for $75 per hour.
Publix hands down. If you're full time, you get 8% of your annual wage as Publix stock added on.
Would you like to get a flu shot today?
Straight evil bro
When you prick a kid do you smile inside or is it just a job to you?
Only if they don't kick and scream while I'm doing it. I've been lucky so far this year. The only screamer was an old guy with severe dementia.
You give out covid shots too?
Of course. And yes, you can get it at the same time as your flu shot.
Median or Pfizer? I've had covid three times with no vax and im retarded now bro. Which one of these will heal me.
>I'm OP
Really?

Finally an honest wagie thread. People keep saying they make $24 an hour starting as a cashier.
32 hours is literally the perfect work week. Fuck 40 hour weeks.

Goddamit wagiewalmartbros, they only pay me 14 bucks a hour here in FL
Im in California, outside of LA county. 16.50 is less than minimum wage here. 14 in Florida looks high
People say Wyoming offers better salaries and affordable rent. One of these days I'll become in a lumberjack just to get away from Florida.

I make $23 an hour loading plastic bottles on to trucks bro. Everyone I work with is an illiterate Mexican. Get it together.
