Vatican II

>why are so many people leaving our church? we've tried everything. more guitars in church. more lgbt ministry and outreach. more annulments. more telling people they're fine just the way they are and don't have to confess their sins. countlessly apologizing for the crusades and inquisition. we've tried everything. except bringing back the latin mass of course. that's evil!!!

Vatican II was the Catholic church's own little reformation. Primarily to get rid of Eurocentrism.

        Heresy against Jesus and God

As opposed to? The protestants who base their beliefs on scripture selected by that same roman catholic/orthodox church?

The Bible doesn't seem to include any wholesale invention from the 4th century, even the corrupt Nicean homosexuals didn't dare do something that obvious. So yes, I'd say actual faiths based on scripture (as opposed to corrupt political enterprises) are objectively better.

    >It must be some detail we're doing wrong, let's change!
    >It must be because we changed, we have to go back!
It's because on a fundamental level, people aren't finding the answers they need from organized religion. People are no longer see a connection between the spirituality of religion and the material world they live in. In the west especially. Globalization has also put Christianity up against all the other religions and philosophies of the world. In a global market place of ideas, puritanism will always lose out to syncretic philosophies that alloy the strengths of others. Rigid dogmas struggle to compete since they can't eject the weaker parts of themselves.

The other part of it is that the Church has repeatability wrecked itself on all levels by trying to conceal child predation. From local parishes to the Holy See, the church leaders for decades put themselves above the congregation and chose to let pedophiles run free rather than to look bad in the press. It's hard to take the Church's claim to being the guiding light of God on Earth when even the Pope is complicit in morally outrageous crimes. This has undermined the Church on such a fundamental level and it is amazing that the bishops still can't figure this out. The Church demands weekly confession of sin to receive the eucharist, yet the institution has never had it's own confession. Only weasel words and empty platitudes.

    >tl;dr arguing over details of canon law is pointless when the ground in which the Church was built is no longer there.

I'd call it a scandal, but that word seems better fitting for some passingly superficial tiff. What this is can only be described as a complete debasement of the RCC. I honestly don't think they'll ever recover.

I can tell you why I left. Because they started to side with gommies and _against_ the conservatives. I can say that _they_ are the traitors.
btw, their pro-left snippets are much more rare than the mainstream "sources" suggest and actual position is much more balanced but there were enough of leftist moronation in their "teaching" that it was enough for me. They give the bullets to the destroyers of the Western Civilization.

Catholicism, and Christianity in general, started bleeding churchgoers before Vatican II because modernity has replaced worship of God for worship of Money and Wealth, at least in the West.

The Free Market is the new God of modernity, the Stock Market is its temple, economists are its evangelists. Christianity was doomed the moment it allowed capitalism and capitalists to assert its authority over society. This one paradigm shift completely changed societies outlook from the next life to the present, the spiritual to the material.

That’s also why traditional church’s remain empty while new age church’s that promise earthly rewards are full.

Why point to the catholic church? This is happening to literally every organized religious institution in the west. Islam included. You think the children of these Muslim migrants are going to remain Muslim? HAH! Don't make me laugh. They'll become atheistic shitskins that integrate with the established population. The officials already know this, that's why they went concerned about importing Muslims because they know the 2nd generation will be indoctrinated.

The question every TLMsperg/ortholarper needs to ask themselves is if they're gonna be going to that same mass doing the same thing in 20-30 years. It's cool and exotic now (and let's face it, every time you talk about the "beauty of it", you mean you like how different it is from your prevailing culture), but will your kids feel the same way? is right on the money, religions now are based more on getting converts or filling the ranks with babies, because those converts will have the zeal to at least carry on for a little bit until they get bored, and those babies will at least fill the pews for 18 years. But cradle catholics continuing to stay devout from cradle to grave? not gonna happen, whether you take them to SSPX or a NeoCat mass.

Orthodoxy is older than humanity lying atheist pig. You white atheist vermin are weak which is why you have to bomb and kill innocent people. Orthodoxy is growing in middle east and africa we have already made latin dogs extinct in the Balkans. Atheist dog.

Nothing you said contradicts what I said. You’re merely replacing the dwindling Med and Slavic populations with Africans, who will go along with whoever gives them food and a purpose. Show me 100 Russians under 30 who are devout Orthodox in practice. You cannot because once you’re born into a culture and then taste what it’s like to have the restrictions of the repressive parts of that culture taken away, you never go back.
But sure, call me an atheist dog while your churches become revolving doors for converts who go onto the next reactionary phase, and while your children become drunkards and prostitutes who always find an excuse not to go to church.

Lying dog Orthodoxy is stronger than ever we are converting people left and right the unchanged dogma can never die. Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Balkans are resurgent in Orthodoxy.
As for Russia, I swear to God Almighty that when the SMO started , I started to think of VVP as the true and front ‘SOLDIER’ of Jesus Christ, thus Mr.Putin in addition to be protected by the Most High, has allied with the Persians and great Eurasian powers and will also be under the umbrella and companionship of the Supreme leader of Iran .
Nothing will happen to the brave nation of Russia under the wise leadership of Mr.Putin , which is now triple protected . I don’t want elaborate further, Amen….
