it's like asking about the history of France, but without mentioning French people.
      >1765-1784
Rich slavers revolt against a colonial monarchist regime
      >1784-1861
Rich slavers create a White ethnostate and oppress Mexican, Indigenous and African peoples
      >1861-1865
Rich slavers revolt again and are defeated. Rich racists are in charge instead.
      >1865-now
Constant tensions caused by social injustice and institutional racism.

There. Domestic history of America isn't that long.

      >where can I find a history of a country built on slavery without it mentioning slavery

Do you want actual history or do you want a fairytale to make you feel good?

Holy shit you people are insufferable.

i mean you just asked a moronic question in the weirdest framing

you should have just said. "Can someone tell me american history that doesn't make me uncomfortable"

It's more about not wanting to have to trawl through shit that's main message is "America bad" and sees slavery as the worst crime to have been committed in human history. We get it, it was bad, but surely it doesn't have to define the ENTIRE history and moral legitimacy of the United States.

            >founding documents explicitly mentions slavery
            >founding fathers owned slaves
            >Why do people keep talking about slaves when defining US history?

just read any history book made before like 1995 and you'll be fine

American history is pretty bad though.

So you do want a fairytale to make you feel good? Just say that and get it over with instead of this tedious dancing around.

I know this is bait but I just want sources that dont redirect to a story about slavery. Obviously slavery has a large part in American history but it feels like no matter what i look up it just comes back to slavery bad like everyone isn't aware of that

Have you considered that if all the sources point to slavery, then perhaps slavery is a pretty big part of the story?

Maybe also one that doesn't mention native americans, homesteading, immigration?

Kek, this board has been completely and totally captured. No way this thread would have gone this way even 3 or 4 years ago.

4 years ago nobody would ask such a moronic question

Mainly moronic because it's literally so easy to find history information that ignores slavery for the most part.

It would've turned into pontificating and arguing about the y DNA haplogroups of the founding fathers

The USA was literally founded based on slavery. It's like asking about a history of China without "muh emperorship".

Do you think every country in the world that regulated slavery is somehow founded on it? Were the Roman and Persians founded on slavery as well? How did the Northern States function without slaves if the entire nation was based on slavery? You're a delusional moron.

It's hard to discuss history without the narratives that come with it, even here. Sadly.
