Uhh sisters? I woke up and my phone suddenly looked like this. I think the battery swole up to the point of breaking the case. Im afraid of taking it to a repair center because it might explode on me on the way there.

My old fire chiefs laptop was left plugged in for over a year without touching it and it swelled up to the point the keys on the keyboard popped out

you set the charge limit so it doesn't overcharge.
The fact you have to set it in the bios or uefi is just fucking retarded; that shit should be a simple switch or automatic.

Probably depends on how cheap the phone is. I've seen laptops expanded every which way thanks to a swollen battery lol.

poke a hole in the battery to relieve the pressure, you'll still need a new battery obviously but this way you don't have to worry about it exploding in the meanwhile.

Be careful, swollen batteries can be dangerous.

Don't do that anon. It might explode.

      Put it into a jar.
It may sound rediculous, but it is a very save way. Then dispose it properly.

Take it apart and get rid of the battery.

yep, but not worth replacing the battery so it's on the shelf now.

Put it on a busy road and watch someone drive over it.

Put it in a ziplock bag and place it in a bucket of sand, when dealing with lithium batteries it's always good to have a bucket of sand on hand to chuck the battery into if it suddenly starts getting hot or you suspect a short.

Pee on it. The ammonia in your pee will neutralize the battery acid

Ideally not something wet or flammable (ie. no flour).
Dont add any chemicals on it, btw.

That would be the same thing as mixing coke and mentos.

    Your phone is pregnant.
Soon it will give birth to the new version of your model.
Just keep it cozy and warm and feed it a lot of electricity.

And yet apple is the only company that has never needed to remove a product for faulty batteries. Maybe one day Korean and chink brands will make a decent product
