Uh men face misogyny even if theyre men, dont question it or youre a transmisogynist!

“Listen to trans women, they’ll enlighten you by saying the most batshit, offensive things ever.”

How will the handmaidens try to defend this? How long until we admit “transmisogyny” isn’t real (though I wish it was)?

    it's trans-misogyny
like they stopped identifing their perpetrators actions as misandry after transitioning and became a tras-misogyny victim

Ok my charitable take on what they mean is:
      >man acts in a feminine way
      >gets bullied for it
      >this is because it is shameful to act feminine
      >seeing acting feminine as shameful is misogynistic
But yeah whether you see this as misogyny, transphobia, homophobia as says, toxic masculinity, or whatever other descriptor is up to you. It all falls under the umbrella of cisheteronormitive patriarchy which harms everyone, and quibbling amongst ourselves over which is the correct descriptor to use is really just distracting from dismantling it and helping those who enforce the status quo win.

She's right. It is misogyny that femininity is devalued and seen as an inherently degraded condition of existence compared to masculinity. It is misogyny that viciously gender polices AMAB people for dressing or acting in ways that are considered feminine. This gender role policing puts up enormous social obstacles to trans women being able to figure out their gender identities and transition because they face the risk of social, economic and sometimes literal death if they do. It is also misogyny that causes trans women to be assumed to have ulterior motives for transition, because it is assumed that no one would ever voluntarily want to be treated like a woman.

Crypto-terfs love to throw around the term 'male socialized' but calling trans women 'male socialized' is like calling lesbians 'straight socialized' because society tried to bully them into being straight before they could embrace their actual sexuality.

        Hot take

HSTS that acted feminine and got called gay as kids experienced misogyny

AGP military types that showed no feminine interests didnt

No. First of all, modern brain scan research completely refutes Blanchardism. All trans people, regardless of direction of transition or sexual orientation have the same underlying neurobiology to bring trans.

"HSTS"s just got a free head start on transitioning because of the brain changes that made them androphiles. "AGP"s don't get that head start and are much more likely to internalize the social bullying to conform to their assigned gender role and to have that social bullying act as a huge barrier to figuring out their identities and transitioning.

Non-androphilic trans women usually have a lot more cumulative psychological trauma from dysphoria by the time they transition than androphilic trans women do as a result of this.

Ok you’re just an angry transbian jealous of youngshits.

I wasn't meaning to suggest that "HSTS" trans women don't get bullied for it, or that they have it any easier in terms of getting shit on by society. Rather I mean that so called "AGPs" don't have it easier just because they tend to repress more and for longer until they figure out they are trans, they just end up with more of certain other kinds of cumulative psychological trauma (specifically crippling imposter syndrome related brainworms) than "HSTS" trans women do.

Your assumptions about how non-androphilic trans women behaved as children just come from buying into assumptions about androphilic trans women being any more valid or 'trutrans' but, again, modern brain scan research completely disproves Blanchard's typology. All trans women who who go on HRT long term are equally valid and true trans based on a modern, evidence based understanding of the neurobiology of being trans.

          >types that showed no feminine interests
          Okay another charitable take:
A lot of those that show no feminine interests did so because they had been taught that being feminine is shameful.
          Slightly warmer take:
The difference between "HSTS/AGP" is a difference in how stubborn you are in expressing your authentic self when faced with adversity from a young age, rather than an innate difference in your gender identity/dysphoria.

What happens if you're genuinely masculine though

What, as in, what if you have dysphporia but your personality and interests are genuinely masculine even if you remove all social conditioning? Then you are a masculine trans girl. Whether there is something "wrong" with that is up to you, I guess.

I think about it that way too, I was openly gay leaning bi when younger and unashamed of any of my feminine traits or masculine traits and even when people had an issue with that they for some reason liked me. I have no enemies, and I think if it were the same for others we'd probably not have either label

              >unashamed of any of my feminine traits
Whereas I was deeply ashamed of myself and understood that supressing any part of my personality that made me stick out in any way was essential to not be targeted by the other kids who then could obviously smell my shame and so targeted me even more. And now that I'm out as trans and allowed to be as feminine as I want I still find it incredibly difficult to let the "real" me out for fear of being bullied again by the 9 year olds who live in my head.

You could argue them getting bullied for being feminine growing up is because of misogyny

  9. 2 weeks ago

Yeah, it's misogyny because it's the same underlying cause, that being a dislike of women and feminine traits.
Apply it to race, someone criticising someone else for 'acting like a nagger' isn't less racist because they're directing their disfavor at someone who isn't black, the attitude is still one of "black = bad, therefore black-associated behaviour=bad".

If they love masculine men then it sounds like they aren't really misandrists and the issue they have is with "men" who are feminine. It's almost like they're being misogynistic but in a special way that applies to trans women? What could we possibly call this phenomenon????
