Which of the above do you use, anons?
>Tor. >I2P. >Freenet. >Whonix. >Qubes OS. >Tails. >LUKS. >VeraCrypt. >mpv
Whoever says all of the above is getting reported. Please take your medication.
You can, run QubeOS on bare metal and then use the Tails/Whonix OS templates
Tor i2p mpv
Why would someone admit to using it on a NSA powered chink-pretend waifuboard?
There are actual people out there who need the protection for example Tails offers.
retroshare and soulseek
Not anonymous, is it?
>It is important to remember that while Retroshare's encryption makes it virtually impossible for an ISP or another external observer to know what one is downloading or uploading, this limitation does not apply to members of the user's Retroshare circle of trust; adding untrusted people to it may be a potential risk.
>In 2012, a German Court granted an injunction against a user of Retroshare for sharing copyrighted music files. Retroshare derives its security from the fact that all transfers should go through “trusted friends” whom users add. In this case, the defendant added the anti-piracy monitoring company as a friend, which allowed him to be traced through aggregation of bad Opsec.
idgaf about "anonymity" when it comes to p2p. idea of p2p that it's resilient to censorship due to peers not being centralized
there are 2 coins to censorship side
when isp fines and sues you in court (applicable for places like australia and germany)
when isp blocks sites and peer trackers (applicable for places like russia and brazil)
and i'm from the latter
> the retard is really trying this hard to defend compromised cancer
the absolute state of mindless p2p shills that think anything with p2p is magical like shitcoins. stick to the www, rabbi. this technology is beyond what your last few remaining iq points can handle.
if p2p works in china (that includes i2p on occasion if you backup reseeds) then i stick with my gut feeling that it is indeed censorship resilient
you can't block p2p without blocking all internet north korea style. it's a fact
> it's a fact
yeah, chinese have been blocking these systems for several years. remaining "Chinese" are usually fags from hong kong or outside of mainland china.
How do I trust someone I don't know? Or how does this shit works?
Whoever is in your circle can trace you
what's the fucking point then? It's supposed to be used by people who already know each other? How about a hardened private server to upload/download shit? If you already know the people you might as well give them credentials and an obfuscated IP/onion address and you're set to go.
You're right, there is none if you value anonymity.
You should seek other options instead.
>joining a public network to remain anonymous is better than creating an invitation only private network
Good tech, I use it almost everyday since more than 12 years, ran and contributed to hidden services, etc.
It's not perfect but it works.
Probably good tech(i2pd), never found anything interesting in it so I don't use it much.
Why so many Russians on it?
Slow and retarded piece of shit.
No thanks, I have my own hardened Gentoo install.
I use it for full system encryption, for keeping my passwords containers encrypted and for data HDD encryption, I don't know what I would do without it, the best tech on your list by far.
I've used it years ago, it worked but I hate the UI, I prefer LUKS.
I watch cute and funny anime on it.
Missing from your list:
>retroshare and soulseek
Stuck in the 2000's huh?
This thread glows.
there's nothing condemning about i2p, it is recreational, a comfy little internet pocket
tor and luks are safety tools and using them should be common sense
mpv is just a video player
Just Tor, and literally just to visit Facebook
>literally just to visit Facebook
Is it blocked in your country, or do you have an account with a fake identity?
3 letter agent glow so bright
None. I am not a sexual deviant.
>implying privacy and anonymity is only for "sexual deviants"
For the people on this board, yes.
No one here is some whistle blower or an enemy of the state.
The only logical reason someone would use all those things (besides being a schizo) is because they're committing online crimes (that get punished, so not like piracy), which is pretty much just illegal porn.
Looks like you have to opt-in to Tor routing with this one. Why isn't it the default?
Literally built with Java-Applets, more than obsolete, not even funny or obscure, just terrible software
I use the patches from kicksecure, but not the patches itself
literally so bloated its not security by compermentalisation its security by obscurity
I can root everything through a transparent Tor proxy anway, no need for that bloat
yes for full disk encryption
considering using it
OP, you forgot GnuPG, shred, Alpine/Gentoo Linux (without Systemd, without giblic), Libreboot/Coreboot and me_cleaner
thats a man.
that's the best part
Why are you gay?
If you don't find him attractive, you're a certified homosexual.
>if you don't want to fuck men, you are gay
I don't follow your logic
Imagine he didn't have a penis. You'd be attracted to him.
The only reason you say you don't find him attractive is because you're scared of it being called gay.
Are you genuinely blind to his masculine body frame?
What parts of his body are masculine?
All of them
That you can see in the picture?
Also, please give sauce for his penis.
lay off the copium, homo
why aren't you?
he has an onlyfans now?
who is gay?
Every male with sexual interest in other males.
I first misread it as
>thats my man
and I felt honored, but now I read again, well, I do not care, I am a fag myself, so why would I care about people who look like girls?
Jesus you are both a newfag and a homo
Is LULZ full of homos nowadays? Is it because zoomers in the US are all gay?
where do you think we are?
Wanting to be a little girl (but never becoming a tranny) is not the same as lusting over men. Nor is it an inherently gay thing to desire.
You can't ever be little again once you grow up anyways.
>are traps gay?
sexual deviant site, sweaty
Yes traps are gay
Being a gay man is very gross
dicky is love, dicky is life
It wasn't always that way though, right? I found LULZ late in my life but didn't /b/ used to lust after actual girls
whats his name?
tor bcz i cba to pay for vpn to watch porn (yeah porn is banned in my country)
mpv bcz its very minimalistic
>porn is banned in my country
But not LULZ?
Or are you a passcuck?
Also, mind sharing the country?
LULZ is not banned but LULZ.com is banned, i dont pay for internet shekels, turkey btw
Ah, so you just avoid the LULZ domain? You don't care about those boards?
This seems to contradict the above post.
Or what exactly did you mean by "internet shekels"?
>Ah, so you just avoid the LULZ domain? You don't care about those boards?
i use dns and gain full access to boards including being able to post and view the attachments but its still not quite the problem solver, i have to restart my browser if i cant see attachments.
Must be a pain living in a country that blocks shit, but nice job getting around it.
that's interesting. what would you suggest for a russian to be ready for given you have similar censorship. porn sites blocked in russia too. especially hentai boorus. LULZ.com is not banned though i think because putin using /misc/ for personal promo campaign
russian programmers already have some programs for russian censorship, you can look for deep packet inspection bypass. i use tor for everything that requires vpn like porn and pastebin (yeah pastebin is banned in turkey too)
***Wait, no VPN, no country block circumvention, right? As Tor is blocked even for pass users...
Unless you have a free alternative?
I'm using LULZ pass, yes. Paid with crypto.
Or this post is another anon trolling? The punctuation is different here.
Judging by the pic related, OP needs all of them.
What are you implying?
tor, whonix, qubes os, the rest are unnecessary.
>the rest are unnecessary
Do you encrypt your data?
i have to encrypt my memes because memes are illegal in my country
All but Freenet, Qubes, and VeraCrypt
so how do you build your own p2p network anyways?
What are you even doing here, then?
have you tried not being british?
either talk about niche hobbies or find a different perspective on something I've been thinking about for awhile.
All of them+lokinet except for freenet(dead), qubes(too picky on hardware) and tails(whonix is better)
I keep forgetting about this one.
How does it currently stand up in comparison to Tor?
people avoid it because it has crypto integrated into its dns thing but since node operators get money through crypto its much more stable than tor(3MB/s) with almost no circuit breakage. There aren’t a lot of interesting stuff on it though, but I have high hopes on it. The lead dev jeff is a nice guy too
lokinet is also stored in the balls
Isn't surveillance focused on people using such things?
Where are her hands?
It's very clear her arms end in stumps, something only a sick fuck with an AI could come up with.
Data mining thread
nobody cares about datamining you neet fags
Tor and whonix. Probably nothing wrong with Qubes OS, just havent tried it. Tails I dont believe is worth using. Your only getting a modicum of security improvement by having it boot from the usb, vs using a VM, but I guess its about use case. If I wanted a secure OS, on someone elses hardware, without having to install shit on their device, then tails on a usb, would be good. but I also hear running tails on a compromised device can compromise tails, so your basically back to a very narrow use case difference and frankly whonix 90% of the time wins. I also believe you can have any OS boot from a usb like tails if you wanted. All those encryptions are good.
There's only one Tails, and it's him.
I don't know why mods on this board tolerate all the pedo dog whistling.
Yeah, I don't get why they tolerate Reddit naggers, such as yourself. Perhaps you should hang yourself on facebook live
In all seriousness, how can something as chuck full of CP as Fopnu (brought to you by the Tixai devs), exist on clearnet?
It doesn't even attempt to hide connections. Anyone doing anything illegal or questionably legal, even with a VPN is exposed to law enforcement if the popo put in even the smallest effort.
never heard of this software. with p2p its a bit of effort to get warrants for every ip. easy to set someone up too. they might want more evidence. if you're a single ip with multiple files over a period of time they might be more inclined to get a warrant. This software may also use proxies along the way with p2p so its not as simple to get a definitive ip of people sharing contraband
