What do you need or want from the Unseen world that will/may help you get ahead in life or find fulfillment? Apply reason and a scientific attitude to your expectations without falling for magical thinking. Even "magical beings" have a logic to them. Wanting to work with the otherworld is a duty of varying degrees of weight. You need a well-developed common sense, critical thought and mind-frame. The paranormal lives in the conscious and unconscious, so read and study some other minds of the world to gain perspective. Do not worship or see the Unseen as less than you or more than you, treat spirits nice and unkind no better than strangers on the street. The Unseen invades your life, you can be an active agent in bringing these connections back, you -can- help other people connect with old folk if you give them a little spark and encourage them to carry that forward. People are shaped by connections but also who they are when nobody's watching: balance both.
    >and career advice
What you like isn't always what you need. Put yourself in (uncomfortable) situations where you have to rely on your wits and improv and preparation to get out successfully. The more you haze yourself on your own terms the more you'll feel free.
Travel independently, build up your repertoire of problem solving and working with people. Who you know matters a bit more than what you can do.
Whatever plan you have made for yourself or wish to do or wanna do, separate it into mental, social and physical types of work. Ensure that in the formation years where you start learning your craft and finding your way you can perform work on these three areas. If you do too much mental work: have something on the side or a plan B or a study that involves physical work. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Start financial literacy early and plan your quarterly finances.

Thank you for this answer, the reason I need spiritual and paranormal development is relatively childish right now, I used to have immense spiritual power as a child and my current goal is to return to that state, along the way I will try to read more occult and spiritual texts to deepen my understanding. After I find my own answer with within, wether that takes the majority of my lifetime, I will then move on to helping others.

        >I used to have immense spiritual power as a child and my current goal is to return to that state
when I was a child I felt more close to the isles and worlds of old at mind as well but you have to realize that things change as life goes on and you won't be the exact same as it used to be.
What's your place in the world and world beyond? What real desire and purpose lie under your overt desires? Reading texts won't always enrich you in the way you hope it will.
Helping others is a good cause: plenty of work around beyond the veil, restless spirits, dumpster diving and discovery.

Hat's the opposite of what I'm hearing from people tho, they say weed fogs your mind and makes you complacent while shrooms and acid make you feel more connected with everything

Both are bad imo. Using substances to exploit your brain will make you dependent on them. There is also the question of authenticity of the visions. Of course by impairing your brain you will have hallucinations. But are they aunthentic spirits, or is it just your brain losing grip. IMO substance use is psyop to impair truth seekers.

    1. Don’t touch hard drugs, and soft drugs (alcohol, nicotine, and caffeine included) only sparingly.

    2. Don’t fall into the trap of avoiding people, or the trap of always seeking their approval.

    3. As soon as you start making money, save 10-20% of your monthly earnings until you have roughly six months worth of expenses in liquid but stable savings. Only tap this fund in emergencies, and get in the mindset that everything you take out you have to replenish later.

    4. Be normal. Be like everyone else, outwardly. Have /x/ interests. That way, when the time comes to discuss your findings, nobody can say you’re a crazy loner.

    5. Work on what Hemingway called your “built in, shockproof bullshit detector” and you’ll never be taken for a fool.

most of the issues you will have with other people are projections of issues you have with yourself. learn to love yourself truly and service to others will become as natural as breathing.

I would tell them to focus on living a balanced life. Don't spend too much time on any one thing. Like video games or electronics or anything like that. Just do a little bit of everything.
