The creator of WWW / HTTP / HTML and probably some more shit we're using right now. Essentially, the man who created the internet as we know it.

so you're saying that without him IQfy wasn't a thing?... someone should go back in time and take him out before it's too late

why would i care about a satanic homosexual (he worked at CERN) who ruined what became the internet? WWW/HTTP was a mistake.

Engineers don't widely get praise for their inventions anon, it's the entrepreneurs who monetise them that get the praise.

This. It’s the reason Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are seen as visionaries even though neither of them invented shit.

Everyone's still sore about the "half a millennium of planetary conquest" thing, funnily enough.

Because he's promoting censorship and Marxism. Although he's probably too stupid to realize it:
    >Establishing policies designed to respect and promote the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those pertaining to education, gender equality, systematically excluded groups, climate, and socio-environmental justice.
    >Assessing and addressing risks created by their technologies, including risks associated with online content (such as misinformation and disinformation), behavior, and personal well-being.
    >Ensuring a diverse workforce

Yeah I remember that part of Das Kapital about socio-environmental justice and systemically excluded groups. Good read.

Rightoids use "Marxist" to mean literally anything they don't like. It's useless attempting to parse their jargon because their jargon is fricking moronic.

no, he's very aware of what he's doing and simply doesn't give a frick.

    >Why does nobody appreciate his contribution
because he's 90% of the reason of why today's internet is a fricking joke. he should have stepped aside decades ago and disappeared. he's done more harm than good in regards to freedom online, at the behest of corporations.

His contribution was very minor. Lots of britbongs like to sperg out about this guy but he didn't even invent the ugly <syntax></syntax> from HTML. HTML and HTTP are the worst parts of the web stack
