    >But the Mozilla Foundation holds special antipathy for Nissan, whoseprivacy policyit calls “probably the most mind boggling creepy, scary, sad, messed up privacy policy we have ever read” because “They come right out and say they can collect and share your sexual activity, health diagnosis data, and genetic information and other sensitive personal information for targeted marketing purposes.”

    >Nissan also discloses that it will share and sell "Inferences drawn from any Personal Data collected to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes" to others for targeted marketing purposes.”

    >“Please people, if you care even a little about privacy, please stay as far away from Nissan's cars, apps, and connected services as you possibly can,” Mozillawarns. A Nissan spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

What app are people using where they plug their sexual activity into? ClitBit?

I don't think they actually intentionally collect that stuff for marketing use, but like your dating app profiles and data will get pulled by the infotainment once the phone is connected and they're covering their ass with that statement because any app on your phone is vulnerable to their scraping and once they have it they will sell it.
It's not a human being looking at this data and seeing what is relevant or not, it's a computer just taking everything it finds and sorting it later.

They can also just buy info from other sources or scrape it from their own sites and apps

You need to stop asking reasonable questions. Show your support by ripping off the shark fin antenna because that's what half a dozen threads started by the same schitzo tell you to do.

Easy. You don't want to be tracked? Remove the GPS antenna. They're easy to identify, usually look like a shark fin. See it on the roof there?

Not even that. There are many ways to disable GPS on a car. Redpill thyself and thou shalt be safe from all forms of glowies, Google, and Apple.

I know a guy who works in a company making satellite car security systems. He said they've been able to hack into the CAN bus of every modern car, except for Tesla. Tesla's security is impenetrable, it essentially self-destructs if you try to brute force your way in, like old arcade cabinets that bricked themselves if you tampered with them.
