      >smaller screen
      >no headphone jack
      >worse resolution
      >no notification LED
      >no SD card slot
      >worse battery
Yes, a clear upgrade from the Note9.

it has an SD card slot.
why the fuck do you not turn notifications except for text messages off, what are you a homosexual? no need for a led.
        same screen and resolution.
who the fuck uses a head phone on a phone, are you a nagger?

at least it has a stylus pen. phones should be nokia sized and have buttons if they're not going to have a stylus.

Did it have air actions for third party apps or was it added in10?
Flipping pages with a stylus button while the phone is mounted in a dex dock is fucking awesome.

Yeah all I really care about is having a stylus.
Still using a Note 8 for now, but worried future phones won't have any stylus option.

It's not just because the buttons are too tiny (they are), it also allows me to copy-paste text from one app to another.

        >copy-paste
Also this. Not only because it's more precise, but because it allows selecting and copying text from static ui elements if you hold the button. Literally impossible with a finger.

I'm still rocking a Note 9 and I can confirm this statement. All the newer Android and Apple phones keep removing features every year and call it progress lmao.

At some point the only innovation in phones became screen-to-frame size and camera quality. It was around the Note 9 phones started dropping features to serve this end. It turns out normalfags and women really like good cameras.
The sad part is that the Note 9 really doesn't have any competition in current year. There is no phone as fast, as feature-rich and as functional. Everything's a tradeoff now and you have to pick what features you really need and what you're willing to sacrifice for them.

      >cant run genshin or hokkai on max settings
      wow that was easy

Not to mention that great ROM scene the Note9 had. 99% of your chink-trash will be running whatever malware-stock they ship it with, and hell will flood over long before anyone actually bothers making custom recovery, much less an alternative ROM for it.

that's why i'm on a 2016 flagship with a ROM scene maintained by two dudes. All the other phones have compromises, no ROM scene or plagued full of pajeet pixelshit infested ROMs (Google Sans instead of Roboto, Pixel apps and PE feature ports, gapps only builds with no vanilla options)

that's right, that's why all phones have giant screens, giant camera humps, giant prices, no jack no SD, no unlockable bootloader, no custom ROM. Android stopped being focused on hackers after 2014 and that's when things started going downwards.

        >Android stopped being focused on hackers
Remember that? When you could practically do anything you wanted with your phone? My current phone literally cannot activate vibrate-only mode when it picks up my work-wifi without having fucking location tracking on.
My old Note 4 could do this and it didn't need to drain the battery and send my location to Google.

Security. The average normalfag can and will install applications from the store with poor spelling, 0 reviews, from companies they've never heard of and blame you when their nudes leak.

This, sadly. Android IS competing with iPhone (whether you want to admit that or not) and they can't have a scandal where some normaltrash manages to lose their lifesavings because they installed Kalkulator.apk and gave it every permission under the sun.

I did so much cool stuff with my phone back in the day. Now I don't bother with it because 75% of it requires 8 different functions to active, and the last 25% of things I want to do are just not doable anymore.

Yes I do. I refuse to bend over to nu-Android. Normalfags and webshitters ruined it and only Lineage and crDroid are bearable experiences now. After that the second best is AOSP 13.

          Wifi ap names are location-specific.
App with access to your nearby ap names and global ap database can guesstimate your location without gps. Google maps does that.
That's why ap names were hidden unless you allow them.

Apple beat Android's ass so hard that it HAD to try to compete. Once again Apple set the standard and Samsung chases to catch up.
