I'm still rocking a Note 9 and I can confirm this statement. All the newer Android and Apple phones keep removing features every year and call it progress lmao.

At some point the only innovation in phones became screen-to-frame size and camera quality. It was around the Note 9 phones started dropping features to serve this end. It turns out normalfags and women really like good cameras.
The sad part is that the Note 9 really doesn't have any competition in current year. There is no phone as fast, as feature-rich and as functional. Everything's a tradeoff now and you have to pick what features you really need and what you're willing to sacrifice for them.
Not to mention that great ROM scene the Note9 had. 99% of your chink-trash will be running whatever malware-stock they ship it with, and hell will flood over long before anyone actually bothers making custom recovery, much less an alternative ROM for it.
that's why i'm on a 2016 flagship with a ROM scene maintained by two dudes. All the other phones have compromises, no ROM scene or plagued full of pajeet pixelshit infested ROMs (Google Sans instead of Roboto, Pixel apps and PE feature ports, gapps only builds with no vanilla options)

App with access to your nearby ap names and global ap database can guesstimate your location without gps. Google maps does that.
