The paranormal of cognitive-dissonance with regards to beliefs

Seems all beliefs are contradictory and there is something with cognitive-dissonance. Is it paranormal 'cause it makes no sense.

I'll pick on religious-tards for a moment. Take the Old Testament. Supposedly God says he is pleased by the aroma of burnt animal offerings..Is that really a Loving God? Supposedly God says not to commit adultery but then he let Solomon have 2000 wives and concubines. In the NT it says it's easier for a camel to get into Heaven than it is for a rich man. Why did God allow Job and Solomon to have lots of wealth? Same deal with Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot's family was allowed to live because they were hospitable and took the strangers in. The rest of the town was destroyed. Christ-djinns have turned it into a lesson against homosexuality (roll eyes). Confront Christians and you'll get that cognitive-dissonance

It's no different than with new agers. They say they create their reality yet they are working at Starbucks. In the face of all evidence they still maintain they create their reality. A slave job is creating your reality?

The Tao says something like "if it needs to be said, it ain't the truth", yet, magically the Tao is like 60 pages long. Confront people with the conflicted nature of beliefs and you'll get cognitive-dissonance coming into play. Paranormal?

      >>he is pleased by the aroma of burnt animal offerings
      >don't you like the smell of barbecue?

It's kind of a bizarre enjoyment for an 'offering'. No, I actually find it weird that somebody would say that~

No. Christ is the way and we have proof through repentance and his body and blood through the blessed bread at mass in accordance with scripture. Matthew 26-26-28

Have you read the Blood Gospels. HE apparently has proof that Jesus was a vampire

I've never seen that so I wouldn't know. I think we all saw the Exorcist, perfect brainwashing for children

      >Get better standards for proof

In this world which is holographic any illusion or delusion can be presented. 'Proof' really is not even to be trusted. I've seen 'proof' presented realtime in this world..everything is not as it seems

I have no idea how most Christian’s can rationalize and trust the Bible. Do they not realize that what they consider the Bible is a heavily censored collection of books chosen by flawed and power hungry men? Don’t they ever question why HOW exactly corrupt Catholic Church came to decide certain things were heretical and others not many many years after Jesus lived? How could they possibly know what was canon, unless of course they had ulterior motives

I agree with you. The conflicted nature of the Book is also suspect. There is truth in the Book but there also seems to be a lot of bullshit

    >In the NT it says it's easier for a camel to get into Heaven than it is for a rich man.

Isn’t it “easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than rich man to heaven”
All camels go to heaven, nowhere in the Bible does it have to say the obvious.
