I mean some theyfabs are pretty fricking hateable, but you have to understand this board envies the theyfabs, so it's expected they'll be hated by a ton of people here. Not really related to being a "hon" as much as it is standard troony envy.

I feel the hate, and I can understand why envy would be there, but I don't usually feel envy here. Idk, I feel weird about it, like mentioning being theyfab at all puts a thread on edge.

I mean, it's a mix. There's a lot of hate but a lot of it is born out of envy in the truest sense of the word. That is to say intense jealousy to the point of wishing harm on the people they're jealous of, actual textbook envy, largely because so many trannies here would KILL to be a cute "theyfab" that just looks like a cis woman and doesn't have to worry about being clocked as a man in a dress kind of deal. This place isn't healthy and most of the trannies here have severe brainworms, so I wouldn't take it too seriously.

I need to touch grass more, probably. Could always do with more of that.
I want to be as understanding of other trans people as I can, but it's easy to get exhausted and disillusioned. The idea of being envied for anything gives me vertigo honestly.

Yeah I'd be careful with online trans spaces. Pretty much all online trans spaces are going to be swing in either the direction of ultra hugboxxy or ultra brainwormy, largely as an affect of being full of people who are truly terminally online and come to these spaces to vent. So they're inherently kind of twisted and you have to be aware of that and not take it too seriously if you wanna keep your sanity in these spaces.

Normal enbies are rad. Theyfabs who are indistinguishable from cis girls but insist on talking down to everyone because clearly they're the most oppressed and kweer are a bane upon the earth.

You're good. I feel for theymabs, honestly. Seems like y'all get the shit end of the stick a lot of the time. Doubly so when you get the sort of theyfabs I talked about giving you the worlds most hypocritical flak about just being a cis person doing it for attention or whatever.

          No we’re not
I don’t fit it with mtfs or ftms, and non-binary spaces are veganafests making it awkward
I can’t be a cis gay man because I have dysphoria and hate being seen as a guy
          I’m an outcast among outcasts

ngl, being amab and having any sort of gender shit going on is a massive fricking downer. Normies think you're some kind of deviant freak out to rape and destroy society, and lgbt spaces treat you much the same unless you look and act exactly the way they want you to, and even then you can tell any niceness is under duress. Everyone views you as a capital M Man, and Men only come in two flavors: Normal and Freak.

            Anonymous

            True
But mtfs at least have a community
I can’t even watch videos or tutorials for non-binary people because it’s so pussy centric for some reason
            We have like no representation.

            Anonymous

It's really unfortunate. I think a lot of amab enbies aren't very public about it because of the weird hostility and frigidness. I know a few who just don't really draw attention to it even though it hurts because at best people don't care (in the "I don't care what you identify as, you're a man, that's stupid" sense, not the "oh that's cool, do you want to get pizza tonight?" kind of way) and at worst they get harrassed. Hopefully one day soon society will stop being moronic and realize that being nonbinary can should and does mean more than being an alt girl with a dyed undercut and a superiority complex.

            Does that actually happen?
I have an irl friend that’s a theyfab and they were fully nice to me about it. They’re also dating a transgirl
And I have a distant theyfab friend who also accepts me
Does this really happen at lgbt meetups?

            Anonymous

How come "alt afab with dyed hair" has become the "norm"?
When talk of being non-binary rose a decade ago, that group of people were more prominently talking about how non-binary people don't all look the same, and that different looking people can be non-binary.
Did we regress? Anyone who isn't afab and waify but perfectly androgynous gets the side eye now.

Its the norm because theyfabs are essentially scapegoats in trans circles and enbies aren't really talked about outside of them. Its kind of funny how much discourse there is against stuff like lgb alliance only for those same trans people to turn around and do the same to enbies.

I didn't want to say this
but my older sister (who's lesbian and used to date a theyfab) says she respects my identity, but also still calls me her "brother" (Even though i told her before sibling is a better alternative) and thinks secretly i should cut my hair

            Anonymous

Let me rephrase that. I personally wish I had theymab friends because I didn't fit in with my fellow theyfab friends and they kicked me to the curb. I hate how it felt and the thought of nbs going through that but worse makes me want to fight something. Extending support to a theymab however I can seems like it'd be a better choice though.

Try to defend this argument without also saying transwomen are men. Society doesn’t treat feminine men like masculine or regular men. They already get treated like they’re nonbinary.

I don't hate theyfabs/enbies for them being non-binary, but for them being obnoxious twatter persons. That's a bad quality in anyone. Twitter (and normie social media in general) was a fricking mistake.

Lol I can't remember the last time I touched social media. I made a twitter to post foot pics and maybe a little money, but I keep wussing out. It's just sitting there collecting cobwebs.

Yeah I'd be careful with online trans spaces. Slightly related slightly unrelated question, but is there an nb general thread ever? Does someone just make one, or is there a process?

        Anonymous

You could just make an /nbgen/ if you really wanted to. There's not really a required process or anything, You just start a thread, give it a topic, post a stupid pic with it. That said this board hibernates at night so I'm not sure you'd get much activity rn, but that's basically it.
