i want an NC BAD. they still command a high price. i have not seen one under 8k for a long time. i almost ought one from a grass roots motorsports guy who raped porches with a 2.5 swap.
you'll never see a clean one for under 8k again. trackrats finally realized how good of a platform it is and now that you can get xidas for it it's ogre
>Think had like 300k miles
300k miles, driven hard, and priced at less than half of the rest of the market?
No, no, there's no way that car would eat up all your free time with wrenching
>No, no, there's no way that car would eat up all your free time with wrenching
well its a miata and everything is easy on it so yea....do you have tools?
>le pigfat meme
The soft top version is only 50kg heavier than a NB while being >wider >longer >higher >bigger wheels and tyres >bigger engine >bigger gearbox for the 2.0 >10 times more features >electronic safety stuff like TC, ESP etc
It's honestly amazing that they could manage to only have it weight 1105kg. And the chassis so much fucking better.
It's the superior choice for tracking. Stripped out and because it's more rigid than the NA/NB there's less roll bar that goes in it, when you compare the weight of an NA/NB to an NC the NC is lighter.
NA has popups and is overall great
NB has the best power/weight
NC is the fat cousin no one really liked
ND is pretty based and fixed most problems the NC had
how the fuck do you fail to drift a NC, the softtop is only 50kg heavier than a NB and got between 20 and 45 more hp. You just have to press the ESP button for 10s to disabled all assistance
As long as you and your boyfriend are happy in it, that’s all that matters 🙂

I regret not buying an nc for 3,500 from that motor sport dude. Think had like 300k miles and was a few hours away.
I'll just buy a corvette instead. I very much enjoy v8s.

Do you have the money, the time, and the place to do it? Tools and experience is nice, but not always available.
Every beat to shit 150k+ mile miata is more than 8k now lmao
holy mother of pigfat
still lighter than everything that isn't a miata.

can you just swap an NA front end on one?
Why would anyone want to do that? Plenty of things to complain about the NC but it is a superior chassis.
for what reason
NB is the best Miata. NA and its popups are stupid and add sharp corners to the design especially when open, NB is a complete package.

no thanks I'll keep my NB

NB is faster and heavier than the NB, bad bait.
>NB has the best power/weight
Fucking what? That's literally the ND2 since it weighs as much as a base NB with 40 more horsepower.
I drove a stock 1.6 NB and a 1.8 NC plenty of times and now own a 1.6 NB.
The NC feels a bit bigger on all sides. It drives fine. Less exciting. More dailyable. I didn't like the interior, felt very boring.
I think it's fine and even the best choice for the more casual driver
The video of Keiichi Tsuchiya and friends failing to drift a stock NC and being disappointed was very telling
