The intent of the constitution is clear when it comes to the 2nd amendment. Obviously USA should legalize full autos to keep up with the times.

The intent of the constitution is clear when it comes to the 2nd amendment. Obviously USA should form a national police force designated the "National Militia" to deal with all internal security matters.

Creating gun-free zones is even worse in terms of creating more shooter possibilities.

Is it clear why they wrote about a 'well-regulated militia' in the 2nd Amendment?
Did they let you take guns into jail or prison when the Constitution was written?

You think this because you are applying video game logic. I doubt there's any strong correlation. There have been multiple mass shootings on army bases. Things that can happen anywhere can happen anywhere

Well regulated means well equipped in this context

      no
What did a lawyer from Virginia mean by "militia" in 1791?
Did they write that part by accident, or was it their intent to have us include it in our reasoning?

Begs the question, I've been hearing from amerifats that the USA is being lost to socialism, that it's gone downhill, that the government is actively tyrannical, isn't this what your second amendment was for? What is going on?

This isn't what 'begging the question' means

As you can see, the problem with 2nd amendment debate is stupid, illiterate, lazy people, fat kids and dumb hicks for example

            Not militia, PEOPLE
imagine being so moronic that you unironically believe that a constitutional amendment in the bill of rights was created to explicitly state that the military has a right to possess firearms lol

Pretty much this, the only possible argument gun grabbers have is by being moronic and trying to pretend that it's ambiguous.

a militia is roughly equivalent to a light infantry brigade, so m16s, m60s and 60mm mortars are acceptable

The founders wrote 2A at a time when there were battleships that could fricking level an entire coastal city with cannon fire and the founders said "Yes, citizens can own these". Not sure what part of the word "infringed" midwits can't wrap their heads around.I'd be willing to have a conversation about drawing the line at massive explosive arms like nukes but not personal arms like automatic weapons. They are already so restricted that it's almost impossible for the average person to get them and the VAST majority of gun crimes are done with illegal firearms in zones where ownership of firearms is either heavily restricted or prohibited entirely. Making things illegal doesn't prevent criminals from committing crimes
