Right looks like he should be dancing to showtunes or singing in a barbershop quartet with other gaymen. And the female looks like the kind of female with boyhips. Bros on the left look like they fuck chicks.
Neutral appreciator of Trek-like entertainment here. I'm gonna have to give it to Strange New Worlds. I just can't abide Seth McFarlane's office dramady that literally had a gay porn episode.
Seriously, Seth's and first officer's performance this season were rather lackluster. They also don't get a lot of good lines to work with. They feel like supporting characters in their own show. In the first two eps, only Cassidy Yates really had time to shine, the others stayed rather bland. Atthe same time, all characters in SNW got more characterization in the first half of the season than any other live action nutrek characters after several seasons.
>I have the money >I control the "critics" voice >Please don't elaborate on our stupid stories, instead make a bunch of papers about our new non binary character
They wasted opportunity to put a different spin on Orville and are doing inferior knock-off. Granted I don't know what the hell nutrek is even doing anymore.
>What was the best Orville ep to date?
My favourites are S01E04, S01E10, S01E12, S02E03, S02E06, S02E07, S02E11 >Everything until now felt like a retread of old trek tropes
This is a good thing, not a bad thing. The best thing an actual successor to Trek could do is if it retread old Trek tropes (which tend to be universal messages and timeless moral lessons, and aren't even original to Trek itself as they were common tropes in speculative fiction decades before TOS). If VOY or ENT managed to emulate TNG as well as Orville did, they'd be looked back on even more fondly. >You can trace everything back to a trek ep from TOS or the 90s
You can trace them farther back than that, to old science fiction. Try actually reading for once. Read some Ray Bradbury. >Same with SNW. People get infected, people visit a cool planet that harbors a dark secret etc. etc.
SNW copies the plot outline then decides to fill in the blanks with pointless character drama. Note that drama in this sense is used in a derogatory way because truly good scripts like The Drumhead from TNG are purely dramatic, but what makes them good is that it's well written, has good dramatic pacing, and keeps the superficial interpersonal drama to a minimum. >Characters are quippy present day people in both shows.
Orville's superior writing actually makes it less quippy than SNW. The only thing it shares with 'quippiness' is the brevity of character dialogue, which in itself doesn't make a quip. What it does is cut through the fat and log and gets straight to the point with the dialogue. SNW does a similar thing as PIC in how you have these long meandering pieces of dialogue that don't really say anything, occasionally broken by a quip from Uhura, Ortega, Pike, Spock, or Number One.
I'll give an example of SNW's 'long, drawn out meandering dialogue saying nothing' from the most recent episode of SNW since I've wiped out my memory of each of the other crap episodes almost as soon as I was finished them.
In this latest episode you have MULTIPLE scenes of Pike flirting and reminiscing with that alien lady. This is all pointless dialogue that amounts to "hey, remember when we have a rapport?". And that's literally all their dialogue amounts to. It has nothing to do with the central plot, it's just them flirting and reminiscing. No one enjoys this shit except wine aunts.
This is the point.
SNW is just Pike stopping every random guy in the street to tell him "Hey bud, you know I'm gonna die in ten years, it's hard, please cry" like a Twitter libtard blue-haired bitch.
I'm ashamed for the anons who enjoy the fake kurtztrek, including the fanservice and transvestite scam they call SNW.

And this is why Orville is better.
Orville is trash. Not just trash, but trash no one cares about.
>implying anyone cares about RT or imdb scores
About as irrelevant as Nielsen ratings.
You know what series get comically high and inflated scores? Series most people don't watch.
Also wait for the fall. Even ST Picard was rated highly once upon a time.
>ratings made by the elite's servants. >only based on percentage of woke lectures per episode. >another evidence of SNW being the Soros' and banksters favorite child.
4 and 5 scored as high or higher than 1. Orville dropped harder after S03E01.

Like we see Number One start glowing, and then it cuts.
In the next scene, she explains her magic Illyrian powers cured everyone offscreen.
Not that it is unique to Trek, but I think some TNG episodes conclude randomly like that.
Personally, I found Spock Amok the weakest episode.

That episode was the first time that the show's serialized character arcs really meshed perfectly with the episode itself. The show has otherwise been good but the character shit kinda hurt the episodes. That one finally worked perfectly.
Orshills are desperate. They literally can't say anything nice about their family guy trek without bringing up SNW (a superior show none of them have watched).

2 >3/10, pretty good
Pretty good and you still give it 3/10, fuck off, you can't say it is pretty good if you give it 3/10, "pretty good" is at least 6/10. But I guess it wouldn't fit your narrative.
If you're just talking about the plot itself (not the execution thereof, just the plot) then maybe. But the characters themselves, Picard, Riker, Geordi, Data were all super likable out of the starting gate.
SNW is inferior in terms of characterization and writing to season 1 and season 2 of TNG.
Also I actually enjoyed season 1 and 2 of TNG and have never paid any mind to people saying they were bad.
I'd take an episode like Justice or We'll Always Have Paris over any episode of SNW so far any day.
>terms of characterization and writing to season 1 and season 2 of TNG.
Then you don't remember much, they don't have much, at least in the first season. Most characteristics were developed in later seasons. >Picard in season 1 doesn't give a fuck about archaeology >Beardless Riker is boring >Worf barely gets to speak >Data and Geordi's friendship is non-existent >Wesley at his worst

>Picard in season 1 doesn't give a fuck about archaeology
Which was only a small character detail. The most important thing about Picard is his commanding presence, which was there from day 1. >Beardless Riker is boring
According to someone who didn't watch the show?
Riker was actually a character in season 1, 2, and 3. After the third season he stops actually being a POV character entirely because his arc is done. >Worf barely gets to speak
Not really a problem. >Data and Geordi's friendship is non-existent
Because they literally meet for the first time as new crew members. Again, not important, in fact that they become friends is part of the characterization in the later seasons. >Wesley at his worst
Debatable.
In any case, it's moot. As I said, they were likable characters with well defined characteristics that wasn't just them telling us their backstory again and again like SNW's cast.

at his worst >Debatable.
What?
Wesley improves every season, by the time he leaves for the academy, you are actually sad he leaves because you have come to like him. In season 1 they didn't know what to do with him, so he was just a boy-wonder, as Picard learns to tolerate him he grows less boy-wonderish and more professional
2 weeks ago
Anonymous
First of all I didn't mind Wesley or find him super annoying.
Second of all, among my favourite episodes featuring Wesley, some were in season 1 and 2 and I didn't really notice a severe decline or improvement of how much I liked his character as the show went on.
I liked him in Justice (season 1), I liked him in The Dauphin (season 2) and I liked him in The Game (season 5). I didn't like him in The Traveler (season 1).
Garbage take, every SNW episode has been at least 7/10. But I already know this is bait since you're giving the stronger episodes lower scores than the weaker ones.
How could The Orville S3 be this mediocre when they had so much extra time to work on it? This is the third season. It should be hitting it's stride yet it feels like they're spinning wheels and re-treading old ground.
I just feel sorry for them because they can't win.
Their high water mark will always exist in their predecessor TNG, which will be a constant reminder and comparison of how shit their modern franchise is.
[...]
[...]
Reminder this is why orshills seethe at SNW. Their season 3 premiere literally gets mogged by SNW's worst episode so far.
Haven't seen the new nu-trek show, was about to just root for team Orville but this is actually pretty funny. Seth really fucked up by waiting too long for the third season and dropped the ball even harder by making it this mediocre. It's not awful but I was really expecting better after 3 years.
wat? no I have a better memory then a goldfish, when a show I like is coming out with a new season I then will watch it, I don't sit around tapping refresh waiting for news on some show or movie wtf?
damn orville shills are desperate, same in the last thread too.
>desperate
sure thing, anon. sorry your life is spent waiting eagerly for the next dump of NuTrek for you to mindlessly consume.
At this point I'm realizing all the Orville hate posts are really just trolling for a reaction.
This isn't SNW Vs Orville, it's spergs getting trolled hard.
If anything, coof should've given him time to revise his scripts and make them tighter. I was expecting him to come out of the gate swinging but instead the two episodes we've so far have just been... meh? Especially after S2, which I thought was great.
the scripts were already locked in, and didn't they already have a lot of it shot already pre-shutdown? i agree stories should've been better, but NH is suffering from over-hype not just following Series 2 a year or so after that aired.
No, they actually did it. They actually fucking made a show about twitter leftists. No dog whistles, no allusions, just pure straight twitter pleb shit. Every fucking line is sjw posturing. EVERY SINGLE ONE. There isn't one joke or quote in this movie that wouldn't get you at least 5 likes. If you were a Joe Biden supporter, this flick is for you. If you own a vinyl bobble head this flick is for you. If you like taking turns with your girlfriend getting rammed in the ass by imported black cock this flick is for you. If you're a normal fucking person who votes Republican and enjoys films about ideas, characters, and interesting settings this piece of shit show is not for you.
Fuck Reddit, fuck twitter, and fuck whoever likes this piece of anti-white shit
SNW is a farce.
People who sucked DIS ass for four years are now writing that it was shit but "Hey, in the other hand SNW is pretty good, it's true Trek this time".
>only fanservice as a story.
Sucking big brother's dick's well paid, I presume.
idk he doesn't have that long to live neither does the mutant girl, why not enjoy the best holodeck in the universe with a real grill for your elderly years
And one of the most important things, even ignoring ALL of SNW's faults of which there are many - The Orville portrays an optimistic happy future, not without conflict, but overall life-affirming. SNW portrays a future of nonstop conflict and horrifying moments punctuated by moments of drinking wine in dimly lit bars.
There is nothing to debate; SNW is just more gay nutrek. Orville isn’t perfect, but it’s got some of trek’s soul which is more than I can say about anything CBS and those garden gnomerats goldman and kurtzman have put out.
>SNW is just more gay nutrek.
xir says while simping for The Orville that's had entire episodes literally devoted to gay sex while SNW has had nothing but hetero sex from multiple characters so far.
Your show is trash, homosexual. You shills were more convincing when you were pushing your retarded cartoon because at least then I couldn’t comment, since I’d never be a big enough homosexual to watch it and find out if you’re lying.
>I haven't watched it >b-but you're wr-wrong
I literally hated all nuTrek prior to SNW and I literally shilled for The Orville prior to "Primal Urges". I have changed my opinions based on the merits of both. I'm not in it to shill or be shilled. I'm in it for what's the best entertainment for my piracy dollar and right now that's Strange New Worlds. Simple as.
>obsessed with gayhomosexualry and old black women fucking robots >literally killed Norm MacDonald
Seems more garden gnomey than you give it credit for.
Not watching anything Kurtzman no more, fool me once etc, even though in this case it was not like fool me thrice.
"the power of math people" finally killed STD for me after that painful first season.
Watched Rick and Morty knock off, it was cringe awful except maybe two jokes.
Watched S1 Picard, wanted to kill myself because what the fuck was even that.
Didn't even bother with SNW, never will no matter what.
Orville on the other hand has been consistently decent since the very beginning up until now, despite being MacFaglane.
Not even a contest here.
Do you think jannies/mods go out there and try to get reimbursed for pushing whatever agenda is available?
i probably would, also knowing who is who is probably extra-hilarious.
LULZ doesn't have IDs visible so they could have a lot more fun in response to all the shit samefagging we do but they don't so I don't think it's that simple.
That's what I'm saying. They may be able to monitor threads with IDs visible but they cant/wont/dont shitpost in response to our obvious homosexualry for whatever reason.
You know if paramount really wanted to make star trek a success, they'd just hire seth McFarlane to be thr show runner, he's obviously a fan, he understands trek and he'd respect the lore. The fact he's had previous actor's/writers from the original cannon proves that, I'd love to see him have a crack at it unironically.
Look im not going to get into console war homosexualry, my show is better than your show bullshit, but I prefer the orville, it gives me my TNG fix, the new stuff I'm not a fan of.
They'll never let him have it after fan-sperging. It's pretty common knowledge by insiders that the studio and showrunners actively avoid hiring fans. He probably thinks he's above that but it seems like they'd avoid it out of spite still because he would hire fans anyway. Dude should have hid his power level.
That's the feeling I get from new trek, active spite for the fanbase, its one thing to go off and write your own stories, and so be it, but they seem to be working from a point to actually go out of their way to piss off fan's, it's a problem specific to trek though, it seems its across the board, tbh I don't really care for trek anymore. Fuck it.
>Gorns, Kirk's brother, Spock, Chibi Uhura, black April, tribbles, Khan... superficial fanservice with zero substance for twitter expert-lickers assholes. >"Your planet is a bloody dictatorship, but America is far worse u know. vote Biden."
>- Le'ts switch Spock and T'Pring bodies, so fun. >- But they are literally the same character, it won't have any comical effect at all. >- That's right. It is because men and women are socially constructed. I chose to be a non binary submarine. >- Meanwhile The Orville are trying to tell stories like True Trek did before, what a bunch of losers.

- Who cares. They don't even have non binary heroes, so critics'll shit on it. We have. The money power. And shills on our side. We'll write the only narrative and asskissers will take it for truth.
I’m grading it on a curve tbf. Just because they were near the bottom doesn’t mean I dislike it, it just means the top characters are still so much better
SNW's first 5 episodes are the strongest first 5 in the history of Star Trek. You're on an anonymous Cambodian fly fishing forum, no one thinks you're hard because you performatively hate anything that might be "reddit"
It's worse because Seth can't stay focused to save his life, especially after a show is canceled. Same thing happened to Family Guy, first seasons before cancellation were great, then when it came back all the humor suddenly became tryhard like it was run by someone else entirely. It's like Seth forgets what makes a show good or maybe thinks he has to reinvent so he just ends up fucking himself over.
The truth might be more boring. He may personally not give a fuck to continue, but production pushes for it and he accepts it.
He then can't say anything negative about it because he will destroy his business; that may make him a hack fraud; but it's a matter of perspective because if he doesn't say anything he'll have the money for more projects in the future.
They're both hack frauds. Trek doesn't even know what TNG actually was (most characters are butchered), and Orville run out of steam at jokes a few episodes ago and they lost the most fappable actress too.
Ok I finished both episodes of season 3 so far.
As expected the SNWfags are just overreacting as there was no real significant diminishing in quality.
Episode 1, bit of a drag. Heavy story that felt out of place because the Kaylon war plot was mid season 2 and we've had plenty of 'back to normal' episodes since then. But I think they wanted to use it as a vehicle to illustrate the brilliance of the new cast member Burke.
Episode 2 started slow, had a great middle section and ended abruptly, but I enjoyed it overall as a horror movie pastiche, just like S01E10. It was basically Jurassic Park/Event Horizon/Aliens/TNG episode Genesis rolled into one. The only things I didn't like about the episode aside from the really slow ramp up, was how it concluded, basically god knows how many of the crew are just given up for lost now (nurse Park, out of the crew of 300 how many more? and what of the children?), how empty the ship suddenly became for no reason (there should have been more people walking through the corridors during the 'event', though this was understandably done to create a horror movie atmosphere), and they did not explain how the alien ship managed to pick up the aliens from off the Orville. And not to mention Yaphit was conspicuously absent from the whole thing. It would have been better had they included a small snippet about confining all crew to their quarters except for essential personnel once the admiral had escaped from sickbay, which would have minimized the people exposed and also explained why the corridors were empty so fast.
I feel like they're going to make this new race the ultimate threat of the season and that this story arc has yet to properly conclude, which gives a chance for the converted people to be returned, which would make this episode more satisfying in retrospect if they do it.
But yea, season 3 is pretty good so far. Still hundreds of times better than SNW crap. It's definitely a lot more 'cinematic' than the last two seasons, but not obnoxiously so like SNW. Also I think one of the reasons the pacing of the new episodes feel a bit sluggish are that episodes are now over an hour long, roughly 15-20 minutes longer than they were in previous seasons.
I'm also glad it's not as people were saying, serialized. It's still seems to be episodic.

Orville >>>>>>>>>>> SNW
confirmed for never watching a single SNW episode
>The Absolute Stone Cold Chads
vs.
>Cucked Hubby and His Cunt Ex-Wife
Not a hard choice. Strange New Worlds it is.
>Boreshills have to resort to fabricating screenshots
[deleted post]
Digits confirm.
My propaganda brainwashing space soap opera is better than your propaganda brainwashing space soap opera
Orville > SNW > PIC > TNG = TOS
Orville
>forced humor
>cant act
>good sound
>good filmmaking
>nice ships
>characters are mostly unlikable
Star Trek
>good writing
>good acting
>sound is meh
>filmmaking is nice
>shitty ships
>characters are libable
Yeah, it kind of even, but I prefer Star Trek. Wish we would get a new Battlestar.
>nice ships
They look like trash. All of them are just the Orville blown up or scaled down.
He probably means the interior
also the ship actually would look good without the loops
>Star Trek
>good writing
>good acting
>characters are libable
hahaha
>Kurtzman Trek
>muh za trauma, death, drugs, it's storytelling
>muh shake the cam' more, it's ze art
Authenticity, by Wall Street's and World Economic Forum pets. Hollywood dicksuckers are welcomed.
Meanwhile, Orville just tells stories.
>Orville just tells stories.
The religious are crazy and holding you back, ad infinitum.
but they are making friends with the fanatics and the bad guys are pure atheists
>Meanwhile, Orville just tells stories.
And this is why Orville is better.
This is the point.
SNW is just Pike stopping every random guy in the street to tell him "Hey bud, you know I'm gonna die in ten years, it's hard, please cry" like a Twitter libtard blue-haired bitch.
I'm ashamed for the anons who enjoy the fake kurtztrek, including the fanservice and transvestite scam they call SNW.
>all the copium
Orville is trash. Not just trash, but trash no one cares about.
If Orville is trash, SNW is AIDS.
Reminder this is why orshills seethe at SNW. Their season 3 premiere literally gets mogged by SNW's worst episode so far.
>imdb ratings
amazing
>implying anyone cares about RT or imdb scores
About as irrelevant as Nielsen ratings.
You know what series get comically high and inflated scores? Series most people don't watch.
Also wait for the fall. Even ST Picard was rated highly once upon a time.
>ratings and what every else says doesn't matter because they go against my personal narrative
That's historically been true.
Let me guess, you think the best musicians of all time are Kanye, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga.
I was going to say maybe orville has more people rating it but nope, it doesn't even have that.
>that dip in number of reviewers for Boreville
oh no no no
>ratings made by the elite's servants.
>only based on percentage of woke lectures per episode.
>another evidence of SNW being the Soros' and banksters favorite child.
>i-it's a conspiracy!
The absolute STATE of orshills.
Seth literally can't recover from this.
Holy shit, Nu-Trek actually fucking won.
>who won the shit eating contest
Guess I'm skipping this season of ORV.
Is there at least going to be a fourth?
>Is there at least going to be a fourth?
>Is there at least going to be a fourth?
lol
these posts will age like milk
Much like the orville after S2.
And like SNW after episode 1.
4 and 5 scored as high or higher than 1. Orville dropped harder after S03E01.
>after episode 1
We talking about boreville again?
you keep cumming over imdb ratings, anon, it's hilarious
Which ratings would you like, anon?
none, actually, because ratings don't mean shit
>because ratings don't mean shit when they prove me wrong
fix'd
lmao, what a retard
>muh rotten tomatoes
>muh studio owned review site
>studio run review site caught manually altering review scores
Yeah, n-word. It’s truly a neutral measure of a shows quality and people should definitely take it seriously. And you totally shouldn’t kill your self.
run review site caught manually altering review scores
What now?
>Uh... well you see they only altered them for SNW because... uh... UHHHHH...
kek
A damning indictment of The Boreville
Oh well RT says New Worlds is better, that obviously has to be the one, the number is bigger
>Ghost of Illyria has the lowest score
Hmm... I guess that is to be expected, it was weird how the the entire plot was resolved offscreen.
Spock Amok was great, they balanced the different plots pretty well and it actually didn't feel rushed.
That episode was the first time that the show's serialized character arcs really meshed perfectly with the episode itself. The show has otherwise been good but the character shit kinda hurt the episodes. That one finally worked perfectly.
wow such a great argument
this "debate" is so artificial, everyone likes s3 of orv so far everyone likes snw so far, its simple as
Orshills are desperate. They literally can't say anything nice about their family guy trek without bringing up SNW (a superior show none of them have watched).
both are good you dipshit, I have watched both, I did not finsh s1 of std, or s1 of pic, so far snw is good, so far s3 of orv is good
>orv is good
how many years has it been?
I'm going grey now
?
do you also enjoy waiting 3 years?
I had other shit to do, didn't really think about it until s3 had a release date, huh?
>I had other shit to do
Same,
I mean that isn't a problem for you?
>Hey boyfriend im back after 3 years do you still have feelings for me?
uh no i moved on.
wat? no I have a better memory then a goldfish, when a show I like is coming out with a new season I then will watch it, I don't sit around tapping refresh waiting for news on some show or movie wtf?
imagine having zero argument other than
>but your series took X amount of time to make !!!!
lmao
that wasn't my first post here
It should be a lot better than it is considering the time they took and the number of episodes they have left. They should be pondering Claire's love life for two episodes especially when that was already explored in S2.
*shouldn't be pondering
I'd rather wait a bit longer for a good show, than have more episodes consistently of a pile of dogshit, anon.
is it CBS that owns all the new trek?
I haven't even attempted SNW.
This. Two 'sodes in and they're getting desperate. They see the writing on the wall and can't cope with the bad writing and back-to-back Dr. Finn's love life b-plots.
>'sodes
kys. SNW is 6 episodes in, and it's all fucking dull.
They can't do anything exciting because it will offend their target audience wagies
[deleted post]
SNW is garbage.
see
I've seen them all, they were all crap.
SNW so far:
>Episode 1
2/10, tentatively giving benefit it might be good since I didn't watch DIS
>Episode 2
3/10, pretty good, interesting concept, good moral lesson, decent character development as long as Uhura stops playing the unsure rookie card from here on out after having proven herself
>Episode 3
1/10, wtf is this bottle episode, Pike and Spock trapped in room entire episode while the second rate supporting cast crap all over screen, every character is now going to have their tragic backstories told like M'benga now
>Episode 4
2/10, barely watchable, again tragic backstory flashback that doesn't even pay off. Again whole episode is them just them hiding and surviving.
>Episode 5
1/10, least fun 'fun' episode ever, skimmed through 70% of it, skipped all chapel scenes
>Episode 6
2/10, would have had a better score if it wasn't a literal line by line copy of Ursula Le Guin's The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas with nothing added to it. Also I'm not even go into a deep dive criticism of the cartoonish wunderkind that somehow fashions perfectly polished pieces of technology, along with fitting cases at all from spare parts. Kid's a genius, not a fucking replicator.
And this is all without criticizing everything else wrong with each of the episodes like writing, dialogue, etc.
2
>3/10, pretty good
Pretty good and you still give it 3/10, fuck off, you can't say it is pretty good if you give it 3/10, "pretty good" is at least 6/10. But I guess it wouldn't fit your narrative.
Relative to the rest of the episodes and PIC it was pretty good. But it's a 3/10 compared to an average episode of Orville or TNG.
Fuck off, it was better than the early TNG episodes.
TNG was shit, so duh.
>Picard in season 1 doesn't give a fuck about archaeology
>Beardless Riker is boring
>Worf barely gets to speak
>Data and Geordi's friendship is non-existent
>Wesley at his worst
As I said, they were likable characters with well defined characteristics that wasn't just them telling us their backstory again and again like SNW's cast.
at his worst
>Debatable.
What?
Wesley improves every season, by the time he leaves for the academy, you are actually sad he leaves because you have come to like him. In season 1 they didn't know what to do with him, so he was just a boy-wonder, as Picard learns to tolerate him he grows less boy-wonderish and more professional
But I already know this is bait since you're giving the stronger episodes lower scores than the weaker ones.
based and saved
Star Trek TOS is shit.
Star Trek TNG is shit.
Star Trek ENT is shit.
Star Trek DIS is shit.
Star Trek PIC is shit.
The Orville is shit.
based DS9 lover
based TAS lover
Worse. It's a mallfag.
How could The Orville S3 be this mediocre when they had so much extra time to work on it? This is the third season. It should be hitting it's stride yet it feels like they're spinning wheels and re-treading old ground.
>re-treading old ground.
NuTrek has been doing this for years.
More time doesn't mean better
More time saved season 3. Had it been released in late 2020 as planned, every episode would have been a ham fisted allusion to Trump.
Seth gets Star Trek. NuTrek producers don’t
>Seth gets Star Trek
He didn't. That's why he had to make fake trek.
Don't blame SNW fans. They think Marvel studios epitomize the peak of film-making history.
That's the brainwashed audience Kurtzman and Abrams want, and they got it.
I just feel sorry for them because they can't win.
Their high water mark will always exist in their predecessor TNG, which will be a constant reminder and comparison of how shit their modern franchise is.
you are all faking outrage like a bunch of retards, both are good you stupid fucking children
[deleted post]
Haven't seen the new nu-trek show, was about to just root for team Orville but this is actually pretty funny. Seth really fucked up by waiting too long for the third season and dropped the ball even harder by making it this mediocre. It's not awful but I was really expecting better after 3 years.
>Seth really fucked up by waiting too long
It wasn't his personal choice to shut down production because of the coof, anon
imagine still using
>but your series took X amount of time to make !!!!
as an argument regardless
damn orville shills are desperate, same in the last thread too.
desperate about what? I like both shows, how the fuck do you not get this through your dense af programming you tarded bot
At this point I'm realizing all the Orville hate posts are really just trolling for a reaction.
This isn't SNW Vs Orville, it's spergs getting trolled hard.
>desperate
sure thing, anon. sorry your life is spent waiting eagerly for the next dump of NuTrek for you to mindlessly consume.
>Every fucking line is sjw posturing. EVERY SINGLE ONE.
Absolute desperation.
>ANTI-WHITE
>ANTI-WHITE
SNW is a farce.
People who sucked DIS ass for four years are now writing that it was shit but "Hey, in the other hand SNW is pretty good, it's true Trek this time".
>only fanservice as a story.
Sucking big brother's dick's well paid, I presume.
>dis
its std you hack falseflagging homosexual
sorry to hear about your STD, fag
its not mine I didn't watch it
NEXT WEEK IN STAR TREK SCHWAB NEW WORLD :
>Pike : "You know, I've seen my own death. I'll be dead in ten years. You know, like, being dead. Maybe I should put a chip under my skin."
he doesn't die though, spock saves him and he gets to live out his days in paradise
It isn't real, though. He's still an ugly cripple.
their illusions are so damn strong the planet is off limits to the galaxy its still pretty good, the most advanced holodeck ever basically
And still Pike saw right through it the first time. Mentally speaking, I think it will do a number on him, knowing that it's all bullshit.
idk he doesn't have that long to live neither does the mutant girl, why not enjoy the best holodeck in the universe with a real grill for your elderly years
>left
Not my Spock, so right win by default.
>literally nothing but white dudes fucking hot women so far this season
>omg anti-white twitter swj leftist jan6th
they're scared
NEXT WEEK IN STAR TREK SCHWAB NEW WORLD :
>hey guys remember that old Trek episode you liked? here's a really shitty rehash of it.
>rehash
meanwhile, on The Boreville: will Claire or won't Claire decide to fuck Toasterman again.
lol
which one did that?
>hasnt seen SNW
Orville has better waifus
SNW already has the best one.
Can confirm. Would seed her womb. Strange New Waifus is best show.
here you go anon, there's still a little bit left.
Orville's casting agent a secret unnamed guy Seth himself makes sure to finger every female cast member.
>I haven't watched it
>b-but you're wr-wrong
I literally hated all nuTrek prior to SNW and I literally shilled for The Orville prior to "Primal Urges". I have changed my opinions based on the merits of both. I'm not in it to shill or be shilled. I'm in it for what's the best entertainment for my piracy dollar and right now that's Strange New Worlds. Simple as.
>immediately lashes out emotionally when proven wrong
kek
hahahaaha The BOREVILLE dya geddit how genius wow great insult bros
the copium of SNWfags
>BOREVILLE
Orshills seethe when you call out their boreville show kek.
Strange New Worlds was created by garden gnomes. The Orville was created by a White Man.
>obsessed with gayhomosexualry and old black women fucking robots
>literally killed Norm MacDonald
Seems more garden gnomey than you give it credit for.
Whoa, I'd always assumed Seth was gnomish... but google is saying he's not.
He's a hapa. Those beady eyes don't lie.
Not even a contest here.
>all that just to shill a dead show
Orshills are so depressing to watch.
>Didn't even bother with SNW
Then you have no opinion worth listening to.
How’s those viewership numbers looking, homosexual? 😉
Hmmm let's see, homosexual...uh oh.
😉
what do imdb ratings have to do with viewership you absolute mong
He’s a paid shill; he doesn’t know what viewership is he’s just here to say Paramount+ products are good.
>already coping
holy shit xD
Do you get extra for working on Sunday?
>orshill accusing others of shilling
Classic. Lovely.
>no u
Classic. Lovely.
>posting a BLM ally
Classic. Lovely. Orville confirmed for pozz.
He calls himself a pariah you homosexual.
Because he's a self-hating white man. Like all orville fans.
Same poster.
>asked about viewership numbers
>posts random ratings
Shill is retarded. Typical.
>random ratings
Hahaahahaahahahahahahahahahaaa
>painful
accurate.
samefag
Orville's science officer is Isaac
Yes, the black lady's toaster fuckboi
Orville is boring though, it's too soapy as well, no one gives a fuck about his relationship with some bitch.
yup, not a good look when people are skipping through an episode.
Is this the new /trek/?
I like how orshills aren't even trying to defend the first two episodes of this season.
Even they know it's trash.
LMAO then they damage control by criticizing SNW
Hard to criticize when they're so butt hurt they refuse to watch it.
I'm literally watching S03E01 right now. Be patient. I marathoned s1 and s2 in the past two weeks.
Which series ripped off a Roddenberry script better this week?
>almost 200 posts
>27 different ips
Kek
It's a spirited debate.
>LULZ doesn't have IDs visible
at least not on our end
That's what I'm saying. They may be able to monitor threads with IDs visible but they cant/wont/dont shitpost in response to our obvious homosexualry for whatever reason.
There's probably a guy in this thread with like 30+ posts, I'd love to see shit like that kek.
The fact that his own trek knockoff show is already flopping in its this season shows they made the right choice not hiring him.
Fuck it.
schizophrenic fucktards still like both will never watch std or pic or any other nu-trek unless it proves itself like orv and snw so far
NEXT WEEK IN STAR TREK SCHWAB NEW WORLD :
>Gorns, Kirk's brother, Spock, Chibi Uhura, black April, tribbles, Khan... superficial fanservice with zero substance for twitter expert-lickers assholes.
>"Your planet is a bloody dictatorship, but America is far worse u know. vote Biden."
NEXT WEEK IN STAR TREK SCHWAB NEW WORLD :
>- Le'ts switch Spock and T'Pring bodies, so fun.
>- But they are literally the same character, it won't have any comical effect at all.
>- That's right. It is because men and women are socially constructed. I chose to be a non binary submarine.
>- Meanwhile The Orville are trying to tell stories like True Trek did before, what a bunch of losers.
Orshilles on suicide watch.
I'm a super homosexual fag and I like Strange New Worlds, even if Discovery and PukeHard are so much better,
don't think too much you nasty goys, just buy the shit with CGI and noise that NWO makes for u,
the orville is so bad, theres no transgender characters and lecture every week in it, its like fascism
goood puppy, now suck kurtzman dick
Gonna be disappointed if there really is s3 quality drop and its not just shitposting
>"But I saw myself dying in ten years, I'm gonna die, I saw it. It's so sad, are you sad knowing I'll be dead in ten years ? Because I'm gonna die you know, I've seen it. In ten years. It can't be helped, but I think you should know that I will be dead in ten years. What ? You think it's not written ? I felt it, I'm gonna die. I know the year. In ten years precisely. I'll be dead, so please cry. It's harsh to know that I'll be dead. Because, I'll be honest, I'm gonna die. In tean years."
Please SNW fans, open your ass a little more.
You are fuckmeat for Hollywood scam shit. Not in ten years, but now.
- Damn it, I can't make Spock black, can I ?
- No Alex, I think it would be too blatant.
- So this guy, Robert something...
- April ?
- Yeah, that bastard. Can I make him black ?
- He was white in TAS.
- Fuck that, I want him black.
- Why don't you create a new character.
- I can't create anything. I'm just like a parasite, I take everything that exists to make it mine and Biden's. I fucked continuity during five years, Picard was the worst show ever done, I can even transform every character I want into an insect, because my power comes from the Hollywood giant paycheck.
- You know there's this show, Orville, which is the true successor and tell stories.
- Who cares. They don't even have non binary heroes, so critics'll shit on it. We have. The money power. And shills on our side. We'll write the only narrative and asskissers will take it for truth.
>orshills don't know about greentexting
Screencapping this homosexualry.
That's how you do a dialog, Kurtzman cumdump.
Newfag.
Ok Trekmovie. Don't swallow.
What's that mean? Is that more reddit homosexualry?
Why did you use dashes? Are you from reddit?
NTA, but that's how you're supposed to write dialogues. You're supposed to learn this in school, lads.
lol
lmao
how much are they paying you
>orshill still in full cope mode
Keep draining them copium crystals.
>he does it for free
Thanks, Disneyshill! Collect your free mouse ears at the door.
I'm watching it on free to air TV in Australia
you suck at your shilling job
I'm torrenting SNW for free. You suck at your shilling job.
>not only does he shill for free
>he also doesn't support the show he thinks is amazing
top kek
>support the show
lmao look at this homosexual orshill
Nice try JJ Abrams, but you're not in Soros City here.
>spamming imdb ratings ad nauseam
>somehow he isn't the one in full cope mode
What did anon mean by this?
>the truth burns the orshill this bad
Yes, you're burning everyone real bad by not answering posts and going full "u mad?"
You sure showed everyone.
>he's still mad
>Hey look, Justin Bieber has sold better!
>Maybe it means I'm not a living trashcan ultimately!
>They don't even have non binary heroes
Um, ever heard of Bortus?
He looked better with the stache
Porn staches are manly as fuck.
They literally have an episode where they state all his people are male and force females to become male. How is that non binary?
>all his people are male and force females to become male
This is what pozzers want. Fuck Seth.
SNW Character tier list:
Pike > Spock > the Aenar engineer > Nurse Chapel *POWER GAP* > Uhura > the Doctor > Number 1 >>>>>> British security chick > Weird dyke lesbian
Orville Character tier list:
Teleya >Isaac > Yaphit > Gordon > Alara > Bortus > Mercer *POWER GAP* LeMarr > Grayson > Finn > Keyali *POWER GAP* Finn niglets > Klyden
I actually like Grayson a lot and Keyali really grew on me.
I’m grading it on a curve tbf. Just because they were near the bottom doesn’t mean I dislike it, it just means the top characters are still so much better
Is LULZ really shilling for Kurtzman's Trek? I knew you guys were low but never thought you would reach this low.
Even moronic shit like Andromeda and Killjoys look fine compared to the Kurtzman Trek Turd Universe.
its just snw, all the rest is utter trash
Not your personal army, LULZ/ judges shows by series, not by producers.
wtf is up with Pike's hair?
You may not like it, but that's what peak masculine hairdo looks like.
SNW's first 5 episodes are the strongest first 5 in the history of Star Trek. You're on an anonymous Cambodian fly fishing forum, no one thinks you're hard because you performatively hate anything that might be "reddit"
Not a debate, it's The Orville.
Orville is objectively worse lately, but that doesn't say much, because we're talking about a 5 or 6 out of 10 VS a 6 out of 10.
Yeah he has the attention span of a goldfish.
He does it on purpose, most of his jokes are gags that work without any continuity, which is why the South Park guys hated him.
Honestly they were easier on him than they could've been.
They're both hack frauds. Trek doesn't even know what TNG actually was (most characters are butchered), and Orville run out of steam at jokes a few episodes ago and they lost the most fappable actress too.
Orville.
No arguments because not even a debate.
Spoken like someone who has only seen the orville.
Yes.
What Orville episode should I start on if I don't want to put up with the terrible "comedy" ?
I feel like they're going to make this new race the ultimate threat of the season and that this story arc has yet to properly conclude, which gives a chance for the converted people to be returned, which would make this episode more satisfying in retrospect if they do it.
cont'd
But yea, season 3 is pretty good so far. Still hundreds of times better than SNW crap. It's definitely a lot more 'cinematic' than the last two seasons, but not obnoxiously so like SNW. Also I think one of the reasons the pacing of the new episodes feel a bit sluggish are that episodes are now over an hour long, roughly 15-20 minutes longer than they were in previous seasons.
I'm also glad it's not as people were saying, serialized. It's still seems to be episodic.
>orshill desperately textwalling
No one cares. Fuck off Seth.
I have now seen all of The Orville released to date and all of SNW released to date.
Orville >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> SNW not even a fucking contest.
Still not watching family guy trek, orshill 😉
>Still not watching
Lol, dropped all pretense of having any knowledge on the show. That was quick, took only three threads of discussion from me since starting the Orville a few weeks ago.
Still not watching your show, Seth.
>using pictures of old Trek to try and argue when Orville is the spiritual successor to old Trek, not Strong Noisy Women
SNW is Trek. Orville is the spiritual successor of dogshit.
Orville is closer to TNG than SNW. Again, you're deluded for posting a TNG pic.
Orville is closer to DOGSHIT than TNG.
You don't even know why TNG was good if you shill SNW over Orville.
Orshills love DOGSHIT and hate TNG.
Orville is great, TNG is great, SNW is shit.
I think I mindbroke you or something.
He's been mindbroken for a few hours by now. Him and his buddies.
> TNG is great, SNW is great, Orville is DOGSHIT
fix'd
You ever watched TNG?
I wanna thank you, SNWshill, because all your sperging about finally convinced me to give the Orville a chance. Cheers.
>gets called orshill
>tries to turn it around
>doesn't work
Orshills can't meme.
I like SNW better but that ORV episode was killer
>orville is now the gore franchise
We've come full circle. SNW wins by default.
Did you miss the child corpse from latest ep of SNW.
Emaciated corpses =/= body horror.
>children being strapped into an unescapable infinite torture machine until they literally burn out and die isn't body horror

More romantic than Pike Banging the child-murderer and then dumping her.
Is this the optimistic Star Trek show orshills were trying to sell me?
The orville isn't great but it watchable and entertaining unlike kurtzman episodic "star trek"
Only cucks and simps like family guy trek.
I am agreeing with you, Star Trek is better because a website told me it was better? number bigger than other number
I’ll take the first appearances of new characters in an earnest show over the third portrayals of 50 year old characters in a cash grab any day
SNW lovers got monkey pox from STD and are trying to gaslight you that they never liked it so you'll poz yourself with it. I've seen how they shilled STD, SPIC, and Lode and it's the same playbook of reddit bot teir comments they think are funny in their discord.
>gaslight
Orshills confirmed for being dyke roasties.
>Uhura breaks into african tribal ooha booga song and starts chucking spears all over the bridge
She was pissed she was dubbed over in the movie. Imagine that.

It would be an axe.
Dear god. She is hiding her blessings under that uniform
I dropped it right then
The better show has Norm Macdonald
Then neither one since Seth had Norm killed.
This is a reminder SNW still takes place in the STD universe. Everything in STD is canon in SNW
>STD
I am going to barf
It won't be long until SNW shills go back to spamming lower decks again
What day do new orville episodes come out? Just finished binge watching and I want more.
Orville is aggressively mediocre but still better than nu-Trek
