The Factory

I have been working at a factory for a few months now. There are some eerie/ questionable occurrences and energy that I have experienced. I will use this thread to keep track of them as maybe some of you are interested.

Prior to being hired, I was required to sign an NDA. As such, many of the details of the factory will be omitted. Here is what I can say: It is a factory located in Midwest America, it employs ~1,000 people (a large employer in the area), I am in floor management.

I have been debating posting this, so the following posts will be things I have made notes of on my phone. I will elaborate in the posts. Here you guys go, enjoy!

can you tell us anything about what the factory produces or what sort of industry it's involved in?

I wish I could, but would it would give away the factory, Sorry.

It is steel-heavy and uses lots of hydraulic systems.

Nothing of that scale would use a PLC. Maybe a BMS subsystem but that’s about it. She’s in DCS territory.

I work the graveyard shift, 10PM - 6AM. A large portion of this job is manual floor work, which is not a well-paying job. As such, we often see some scummy people in these positions. I am not passing judgment, rather, addressing the fact. You could perhaps note that this is a source of the negative energy, but I believe it comes from the factory itself.

There have been numerous deaths, suicides, dismemberment, injuries, and several employees who would later murder the factory. One of the first stories I have is of a guy who killed himself using a crane hoist.

This was before I began, several years ago. a guy was working in the far corners of the factory in a very isolated position. He had mentioned to others that he was not doing well. Home life was not helpful, and he had been going to counseling. No one knows the reason behind his actions.

They would find him the following morning on shift change hanging from a hoist high up in the rafters of the factory. It was not determined for how long. This also prompted the factory to install 100's of CCTV cameras throughout the building.

Such a text format as OP's makes reading lengthy posts easier. Thank you for your input. Are you running a static human infoproc system? I suggest you upgrade.

Hey big plants like this are always epic, worked at a coal power plant in a nordic country for a short time, not a lot of employees maybe, 50-100. Bunch of peopled had offed themselves as the property.
      >one dude was no show to work for 2 weeks, later discovered under an emergency exit stair case, hung himself
      >another c**t, worked at the plant for decades
      >climbed onto conveyor belt going into coal grinders
      >was crushed into a billion bits and blown into the furnace, considered suicide.

Could it be that these environments make perfect place to killing people? Like ritual murder for evil spirits?

There are two accounts of maintenance crew members who have been electrocuted, both passed away.

The first of these, a man was working on a faulty machine that had 3 separate "transformers". He was larger, and a coroner determined that the cause of death was a heart attack. It was not clear whether the heart attack was before or after the transformer arced while he was working on it. They would find him slumped over, face down in the wires.

The second account was very similar to the first, but he was in rather good shape. Rather the circuit was not disengaged properly, and there was an arc ranging from 6,000-15,000V.

Probably the last story, unless you want to hear more.

A worker was in a confined space where a larger "trolley" (for lack of better terms) was moving overhead. They reached into the track system and lost their arm. They would bleed out en route to the hospital.

Again, I have several more of these types of accounts/ stories, but I have even more personal paranormal stories. Let me know what you would like to hear. I could also talk to my security guard friend, and hear if he has any weird accounts (he watches the cameras).

One more spoopy post to tantalize some appetites.

I am often going from one department to another. During these transitions, I walk through large parts of the factory, where the power has been shut off. It gets very dark, and the mess of steel, HVAC, wiring, and other pipes, create holes that are very ominous. On several occasions, I have seen shapes and shadows move within these areas. There have been faces and silhouettes, but this could likely be attributed to Pareidolia.

I appreciate you not making up unbelievable shit or writing yet another innawoods story following the same theme and structure as three hundred others but this has been underwhelming.

Do you know how many people in total have died at the factory?

I know it's over 20... the place has been open for almost 100 years.

What’s so spooky about this? Seems pretty normal for a dangerous environment of that size for that length of time.

I wish I could take pictures to show you the "air" surrounding the place. It is not the number of deaths nor the personalities of others. It is the difference of atmosphere as soon as you walk through the doors. It's when you are in the dark corners of the factory, and you realize how big the machines are and how little you are. Here is an anecdote:

I went on the roof a couple of weeks ago. It is about the size of four football fields with small sheds scattered everywhere. It is ~ 6 stories high with two large vents in the center. While up here I know I was alone. But there was a feeling, like something daring me to see how close to the edge I could get. This is not like me; I am very cautious and follow the rules. There was something there, egging me on.

Furthermore, the feeling came with a sense of peace. Like I would be relieved of the place if I just went for it.

My trainer mentioned there was a fire in either the 60's or 70's that took out a crew (4-5 people).

LOL, amateur hour. Worked at a large tar sand facility for quite some time. 80 deaths in a little over 50 years. Many more ‘natural deaths’ and destroyed lives though. Used to joke that the place ran off souls, probably wasn’t far off.

See that joke is what worries me. The family who owns the company seem to have some very VERY deep pockets. When you begin talking 10-digit numbers, I immediately think of sacrifices. IDK, maybe I am a gay moron.

Not to threadjack but I work at a large AF depot in the southeast US and it has very similar vibes. Everyone there is hostile and dull. Almost like they all have lead poisoning.

I get that you are trying to remain anonymous, but you are gonna need to give some more details. Generally, what kind of industry? Defense? Automotive? There are tons of factories like this everywhere and the Mid West is huge. No one is going to figure this out from posts.
With that being said, a couple of questions. Are there any Native American Archaeology sites around? What is the general geology? If it's a place like Gary, Indiana it's situated on the Kenekee Arch. Just doing basic research, I think a lot of paranormal stuff happens near piezoelectric geologic material, like granite or sandstone (anything with silica in it) and Gary has only about 10 feet of soil before you hit sandstone, which I believe makes it so depressing and paranormal. So, geology? Regarding the Native American stuff, a friend in a tribe stated that any souls that don't depart in peace remain around. It could be that these souls are just a cascading effect of violent deaths in a dangerous industry and you have tormented souls on top of tormented souls. For what it's worth, I believe you and think this kinds of stuff (paranormal that isn't sensational) is the most important to study.

OP here. I apologize for the formatting, it is easiest for me to do it this way. I have notes from my phone, and it is much quicker to type out as I am going. As for rapes, I do not know, but there (of course) has been sexual harassment. Funny enough there are a lot of workplace relationships...

I understand the "spooky shadow" trope and its overplayed use on this site. The atmosphere leads me to believe that there are some underlying powers at work.

Talked with my trainer last night and he filled me in regarding the murder details.

5 years ago, a guy left work early for the holiday vacation. He was pretty high-paced and quick to anger. They also believe he was an alcoholic. Later that night, police showed up at his house on reports of shots fired.

They found that he had absolutely destroyed his wife. More than just shooting her. When they asked why he had done it, he said that he didn't have a choice.

Now here is the kicker, he had worked there for decades, and when he first began he was an easygoing guy. Social, hardworking, and had his shit together. Over the years, they said he had changed. This was noticed after the fact. The changes were on such a small scale, that they were not obvious until people really began to think about the degression.
    -------

I looked into the Native American land angle, and although there are sites in the state, the factory itself is not situated on any spiritual land. However, it does use a large amount of water that has been curated from a local river. This river is very significant in Native American beliefs/ culture. I do not know if this has any impact on any negative energy.

Field work in remote factories is soul sucking, like the actual contrast between nature in the middle of nowhere and the absolute lack of freedom of being in site in the camp is too much to handle after a while
