Takeshita shouldn't go back to DDT. He will make a lot more money in America as long as immersion helps him with his English. AEW is a good place to cut his teeth before Disney throws millions at him one day. Mark Henry sees it. Tall Paul Wight sees it. They both know he will be on WWE's radar sooner than later.

he has one of the most picturesque in the biz
Because he's so good at wrestling he can get 3 moves over: a Stan Hansen Lariat, a Harley Race Knee and a Karl Gotch German Suplex. He goes through them in order and whichever wins, wins. So far his knee has been enough but if the match proves big enough, you get the German. He has finally realized that the move doesn't matter as much as getting it over. He is going to be very rich.

Okay but actually. Takeshita is way too good to be stuck in DDT during his prime years. He's still really young, so he could go to either AEW or WWE and be built into a star. He's probably the only jap TK should throw big money at.

Takeshita just needs to stick with a finish instead of changing it every few years. This weak knee lift he changed to on this tour sucks.
His character finally became based in DDT the past couple years, he needs to be that guy and not 'happy to be here rookie', because he legitimately has more main event match experience than anyone in AEW except Joe and Sting.

Exactly. He finally found the right character for himself in Japan but there's nothing on this tour besides his natural charisma that stands out about his personality. He's just a smiling guy. I feel like this happens to a lot of talent.

It looks like shit 2/3 times but the knee lift is better for his style than the submission finish he's been using in DDT. It's basically money clip syndrome all over again because it derails the momentum of a match. Takeshita should have a huge power move as his finish.
Takeshita has been a phenomenal wrestler for years but has always lacked that extra thing to get him really over. In all seriousness, the big think guys in AEW e.g. Jericho, should take a look at Takeshita and figure out a character for him that can take him to the next level and get him over.
What's left for Takeshita in DDT? It'll be 10 years in August. He was a world champ 4 years into debuting and has won the tourneys and gotten the titles. He like conquered DDT and can now cash in by taking his show on the road. That guy is no ordinary wrestler and he should be on my TV and not my laptop.
