Success is about potential, resources, strategy and hard work. Whenever you fail at something you are lacking something in at least one of these departments.
The first three are essentially based on luck, even strategy because you're just hoping that your plan will work but you don't actually know if it will. Hard work is the only thing within your control although it's debatable since you may not control how badly you want something even though you consciously want it.
Most people have the potential, resources, and plan to become chad, the only thing left is how badly you want it and that will drive you to work hard. The best motivation is fear and needless suffering so you never know what kind of current/past lives those chads are living in.

The thing is even if you are able to successfully develop a "titanium character" as you put it, if you don't have a masculine appearance you will never be respected as much as you should.
e.g. if you're short and/or have a noticeably thin feminine bone structure are two things that no amount of gym or other kind of hard work can fix.
You can still garner respect from people you are around regularly but you will never be seen as a "real man" without the proper physicality, it is a simple matter of human nature.
