Stop using the word tryhard

>Older people on here love to talk about how confident and experienced they are in their style and "knowledge", but without fail there’s always the belittling and use of terms like "tryhard" (dumb ass term by the way) to describe the styles and vibes of what happens to be popular right now.

It’s just a benefit of getting older anon, you start to see shit like that from a mile away having either gone through it yourself or you’ve seen enough of it when you’re younger. Still, don’t be afraid to experiment and try new things, some of it might catch on some of it won’t, but as long as you’re having a go.

External ugliness inflates inner ugliness. The ugly are unfairly treated poorly, exacerbating in turn ugly personalities. Such has been and will always be the way of the world.

A lot of effort to make a weird pic of the guy in OP but whatever.

      lol
seriously though, i agreed with you (i hate that word) until i realised this guy was the perfect example of a tryhard.

I don’t see how looking good is tryhard now but ok?

This is true, it’s quite funny how people get passes depending on if they’re heckable or not.

Being "heckable" has a lot more to do with personality, try not being shallow I guess?

Why is he cuffing his jeans? They don’t even look selvedge. Just hem them if you have nothing to show off. Tryhard much?

If he’s gonna wear jeans in a semi-formal fit, he should hem instead of cuffing. Cuffing is only for boots or sneakers.
Also he’s wearing a formal jacket that should only be worn as a full suit, should had picked a sports blazer instead, moreso when combined with those rings.
Other than that, people shit on his face and forehead, but not much he can do about it. I like the glasses.
