its bizarre because when i bought my truck in 2010 there was a 2011 next to it and i bought my '10 based just on the color. theyre the same fricking thing.
id wager that filter is the ONLY difference between a '10 and '11.
I wonder it's not an official support thing, I remember some of the early f150's had support for them but it wasn't included by default for whatever reason.
I can't remember what other truck had the same type of issue, but you could cut it open and throw one in.
I just looked it up, it is those silverados. you can cut it open and throw one in.
this guy does a diy but you can buy the oem plastic holder.
nice little upgrade.
I'll tell you how moronic I am because you're cute. >Clutch slave failed on my shitbox >Order a new one online >Website wants to upsell me, offers cabin air filter >Order one because I've never changed it >Parts arrive >Check the cabin air intake >It's fricking empty >Google cabin air filter location >"Lmao mx5s do 't have cabin air filters" >Realize that filtering the cabin air on a convertible would be moronic
it keeps the evaporator and heater core clear, so it's not pointless. if you have an ND you could fit something in where the screen is.
>t. Never had gravel pelt him in the leg while driving because he left his fresh air vent open that's routed directly to the cowl.
Kids nowadays are soft and would have shit their pants just from going outside 20 years ago.

I've owned the car for 4 years now and haven't changed it. It's just annoying enough of a process that I can't be bothered. It's not behind the glove box like a normal car.
>implying I own a car with a cabin air filter
2010 silverado doesnt have one. 2011 does.
been filter free for 12 years bros.
4 months, cba to pull it because allergygay

broke the shitty clips holding it in when I tried to replace it though because the tutorial explained it really badly
cabin air filters are stupid
if they catch debris of any kind id disagree, as 2' after that you're breathing it in.

I remember that time when a leave somehow ended up in the vents.
Worked its way through the fan making a lot of noise.
These are real?
I thought they were like windshield washer fluid filters.
2009
I have never changed it. I don't even know where it is.
Behind the glove box.

It's behind the flove box, you're just a moron.
think a couple months ago i gave it a good tapping, its on a easy quick disconnect behind the glove box
Clean your blower son.
Also my vents have no dust on them. How's that for cabin filter replacement frequency kid?
>Verification not required.
changed 2 weeks ago and can't feel the difference
Judging by all the leaves I found in my heater fan I'd say Cabin filters weren't a thing in 1983
look man. the more dust it picks up the thicker your filter is so the filter still works. fk it. ill change it when i smell smoke.
These things are a complete meme
