But fedora also sucks ass. Just use win 10 IoT LTSC and be happy.
I started with Darwin kernel because I thought I could get OSX on my desktop way back in 2002
It didn't work so I tried FreeBSD then I got a magazine with a free CD image of Mandrake linux and installed that
I eventually ended up on Debian for reasons unknown, then Crunchbang, then Xubuntu until today.
>install fedora
>doesn’t work because it doesn’t support the 6900XT XH variant out of the box
yep. back to windows.
hate to break it to you no linux distro will support nvidia cards because nvidia doesn't make decent drivers
good job being a gigantic retard anon
>AMD HAS GREAT SUPPORT ON LINUX
>EXCEPT WHEN IT DOESNT APU.JPG
yep. back to windows.
what
do you struggle with reading the English languge?
but it does
then the 6900XTXH should work out of the box, and you shouldn’t have to boot the installer with the xdriver=vesa switch, and then find yourself with an unbootable system after the installer finishes.
the fuck is a 6900XTXH?
i am not google not bing. find out yourself
>start your Linux experience with badly supported hardware
>think Linux sucks
alright smartass whats the command for installing shit in fedora?
>opens discovery
Exactly. There's a functioning app store. You dont need terminal commands. Its perfect for getting started with Linux.
i dont want to use your stupid software installer i want to use a command so what is it?
you can use whatever you want. By default its RPM package manager so "rpm install". Either way you're completely outside of the presented usecase (starting with Linux as a first time user) so your screeching is irrelevant.
you claim fedora is a superior experience and yet don't know the first thing about it
> dnf install *package*
I don't even use Le Fedora.
thank you but i was not about to google it when someone was claiming it was better than all over distros while at the same time unwilling to answer even the most basic question
If you want a virtually hassle free experience, you should use arch unironically.
using what to help you install it?
archinstall
