Like I'm a guy who isn't very looks conscious and would be fine with being the bf of girls who are fat and ugly, but in practice my past girlfriends have been surprisingly hot just because that's the kind of girl who actually responds well to my lack of social skills.

The class Stacy was always nice to me she was one of the only girls to compliment me and even gave me rides home a fair amount of times because I always walked, mid girls where the ones acting disgusted to talk to me, I should've realized they where just mad that Stacy was the one fucking Chad and they won't accept they had to pick among the lower caste. One thing that really sucks is the girls with infectious positivity, ones that brighten your day just to be around, are that way because they are so beautiful they've never really had negative experiences comparable to most people. I've had a similar experience as well, there was a table of stacies that let me sit with them, they always asked me how i was doing. Even if they only did it because they don't think of me as a man it still made my time in that class a lot better.

the truth is that stacies and chads are extremely nice people. they havnt been through the hardship people further down the social ladder have, they didnt have to fight for their position, they just acted like themselves. most are very kind and make people feel good just by being around, just by virtue of their natural personalities. in high school one of the only people who would talk to me was a giant linebacker in my chem class who would watch me draw in my notebooks and tell me he thought i was a really talented artist

Yeah. It's weird I'd built up this idea in my head that attractive girls were uber bitchy and self-absorbed but they were genuinely some of the most pleasant girls to be around. Just generally nice, caring and eager to help. A giga Stacy I got sat next to in math class, a girl called Theresa (genuine 10/10, puts models to shame tbh) was like that and even when I see her out and about nowadays she's always smiling or stops to talk with me etc.

Wasn't even the ugly girls in my experience. It was the sort of middle ground not ugly but not attractive either kinds of girls were the worst.
i keep saying this, if you actually spend any time around chads and staceys you'll find they are really nice, kind and altruistic people. the halo effect is real, it started working on them in childhood and turned into a lifelong virtuous circle. the world treats them kindly, they love being alive and want to pay that love forward. it's the same principle whereby you hate and resent the whole world and want to kill both yourself and everyone in it
