Sometimes this modern world definitely begins to feels like a clown world when I’m reading about the past

Can you imagine what people from the 19th century and before would think about all the shit we do to encourage and protect the lifestyle of “sodomites” or “cross-dressers” (as people in the past would see them)?

I mean would they even be able to comprehend the purpose of “anal marriage?” I mean this shit would all seem so unbelievable and even hilarious to them.

I don’t think about gay people at all unless they’re talking to me or Christians/conservatives complain about them on IQfy.
I mean the obsession and focus you have on them certainly points to something about your psychology. They occupy a suspicious portion of your mind and emotions

I have never once in my entire being combined the words "anal" and "marriage" into a unifying concept. Why are you this way?

But that’s basically what gay marriage is in essence and that’s how people in the past would have seen it.

Why are gays the Alpha and Omega of Christian mortality? You literally do do not scorn any other sin.

It seems Christianity is shrinking down to guys who are closeted and engaging in reaction formation, using Christianity as a justification. I heard guys hear listen to Christian podcasts and don’t even go to church

LGBT is the only sin for which there is a massive industry of "pride" and promotion of that sin as if it is something to be praised.

You don't see, for instance, people marching down the street in their thousands for "Alcoholics Pride", screaming about how everybody that tells them they should stop drinking beer is a disgusting bigot and must be banished from public society. You don't see binge drinkers turning up to churches demanding that Christianity MUST accept them for "their true self" and allow them to booze as much as they want without condemnation.

No, there's no alcoholic pride but it is a massive culture in society just like a million other ills from the debt system to destruction of the environment but you're particularly outraged by trannies.

If a Christian goes to an alcoholic and tells him "you are welcome in the church, and Jesus loves you, but we can't endorse your usage of alcohol and we want to help you to stop doing that", most people would think that's a reasonable thing to say.

If a Christian goes to a gay man or a trans person and says "you are welcome in the church, and Jesus loves you, but we can't endorse your sexuality and want to help you to stop doing that", suddenly this is viewed as something hateful and unacceptable thing to say.

That explains the difference. Only LGBT sin is exalted to such a high degree in secular society that it is seen as completely beyond the pale to criticise it in any way.

I think the only comparable thing is abortion maybe. I guess many people would have a similar reaction and accuse Christians of being "hateful" if they say people should not get abortions.

It’s even nearly getting to the point where it would be considered hateful for Christians to go up to prostitutes or only fan content creators (aka “sex workers” as they are know called) to tell them "you are welcome in the church, and Jesus loves you, but we can't endorse your prostitutedom and we want to help you to stop doing that.”

The bible literally begins with Adam and Eve as the ideal human coupling, now it’s Adam or Steve or Adam trying to be Eve and calling himself a woman.

For Christians it’s probably a constant reminder how far humanity has fallen and much further it can fall.

Have Christians throughout history ever been the “live and let live” kind of people?

Well, I sometimes think that the past was a true clown world, or rather a means to an end, a sort of a play, not so different from what it is now, but much more severe than right now.

Have you seen these "slices of life" pictures of the people of the past? Wtf are they doing there? It's almost like they lived there so you could live now. And living there was absolutely no fun. You could do so much more right now for your pleasure and entertainment, however sick and twisted this world itself made it to be, but it is a choice non a less, a possibility.

Compared to the older days, we're living itself another day was an achievement, yet alone getting a decent meal and shelter, and even then, what else can you do there?, Just sit in your, as modern lingo describes it, cage, and wait until this day passes so you can start you little routine of living through the next day again. There is nothing but emptiness in the eyes of a lucky few who've been able to be recorded from the ancient times. Yes, the situation is probably much worse now, but it is so because there are more ways to escape this dread of living, which homosexualry is one of the most twisted ones.

Puritans went wild and mad merely because of men cross-dressing in the theatre. Imagine if they had met modern trannies lol. Would they self-destruct at the first sight of them?

    > By the time of Charles I the transvestite controversy appears to have died down-at least the pamphlet polemic was muted-but it was revived in 1633 by a new spate of puritan attacks on the theatre. William Prynne poured scorn on men who would "adulterate, emasculate, metamorphose, and debase their noble sex" by acting womanish parts or putting on female costume. Like Gosson and Stubbes before him, Prynne cited Deut. 22:5 to prove that "God himself doth expressly inhibit men to put on woman's apparel, because it is an abomination to him." Even someone "who puts on a woman's raiment but to act a part, though it be but once, is doubtless a putter on of woman's apparel . . . and so a grand delinquent against God." The effect of such abominable behavior-inevitably in Prynne's view-was to shame nature by making men monstrous and effeminate and to unleash the sins of lustfulness, sodomy and self-pollution.
