I’m not a watch guy at all, I’ve worn a CASIO since I was 17 and just recently got a Seiko for dressier occasions, but I’ve always loved “square” watches, something about normal ones just aren’t my thing. Not sure what OP pic is but I really like jt

it’s called the JLC Reverso. It was a watch you could flip around so the front was not exposed if you were doing something like playing tennis or polo that way you’d be less likely to break it.

There are newer models that when you flip it over it has a separate dial and some that are probably even more complicated at this point. They are hecking elegant though.

I think that this particular version of the Reverso is much inferior in terms of design to the Tribute version, which is much closer to the original design and which, in my point of view, is prettier.

Furthermore, classic models from Cartier and the Reverso are now fashion watches due to the Old Money trend. I always avoid trends, so I would avoid these watches for a while.

sometimes personal style lines up with trends, sometimes you’re ahead of the curve too. just keep doing you and looking good and you’ll be fine

You sure picked a terrible watch to represent your idea of an end-all-be-all timepiece.
    >zero water resistance
    >zero shock resistance
    >hand-wind only
    >neither casual nor formal, doesn’t know what it’s trying to be and clashes with most outfits
    >leather, the ugliest and least practical strap option

Even a mall-tier quartz shitter is a way better choice if you’re keen on having a one-watch collection.

The Reverso is sexy and iconic but honestly most people wear it too big. It’s supposed to be small and elegant like pic related but for some reasons watchfags have no clue on how a watch should fit.
