>search for dubious or politically incorrect stuff on google and bing : no results >search for dubious or politically incorrect stuff on yandex : results
you're out of options
Who cares? General searching on the Internet has been worthless for years, not because search engines have gone to shit, but because most information on it is just horseshit and there's no way to filter out good information from bad. You already know where to find anything worth finding.
They're all shit.
Yandex gives you decent results but has a ton of russian filler sprinkled thoughout the result page.
Bing again gives you decent results but the result page is bloated to all hell and a huge eye sore.
Google has the best english results but is google and shouldn't be supported.
Everything else gives dog shit unrelevent results and aren't even worth thinking about using.
>Google has the best english results
It really fucking doesn't, in fact it's shocking how bad it is. Recently I ran into a fairly specific issue with Debian VMs, Google produced almost entirely useless results while Bing found the exact issue I was trying to research being discussed on the mailing list. Pretty fucking awful performance on Google's part.
simple test to find the winner >
enter "does the covid vaccine cause infertility in females?" into all the search engines you know, see what results you get.
Yandex
swallow the Putin pill
Might unironically be true.
Brave results are just shit, Bing is literally a Google mirror and duckduckgo is a pozzed meme
yeah. no. I find russian propaganda slightly more repulsive than american propaganda.
Don't really want to be a "useful idiot"

>politically incorrect stuff = truth
I do not find "culture wars" junk entertaining or insightful.
I am a man, not an arbitrarily contrarian teenager.
Supporting U$ Imperialism is being a useful idiot whereas having solidarity with Russia and President Putin is being on the side of good,

Dogpile?
there is literally not one person on this website who doesn't use google several times a day
i would put money on it
Deprecated by chatgpt for anything useful
chatgpt is absolute shit for factual answers compared to search
it's great for transforming text, e.g. talking about PDFs you fed it, or translating various shit, when you supply it with your own facts to work with
things like
is where it's headed at, but they're still in their infancy

This is the fourth thread I've seen in two hours throwing {Search engine} under the bus in support of Bing being the only viable alternative.
