Europe always resorts to communism to compete with American private entrepeneurship.

Its why Europe will always be a failure

The problem is actually that we’re trying to compete: the world doesn’t need a “European competitor” in a field where everyone’s needs are already served, it’s a waste of manpower

      >The objective of the EPI is to develop European know-how on the design and construction of processors for high-performance computing, allowing Europe technological sovereignty
“Technological sovereignty” is an empty buzzword (as would be “clothing sovereignty” or “beverage sovereignty”), and Europe is not a sovereign entity anyway

Then why doesn't America have a car manufacturer in the top 3?

American companies working in the high profit middle income secon. Not as profitable as a Ferrari, but selling 30 makes up the difference and they sell 100x more F150s @ $60-120k. Many nip brands service the low profit bottom end of the market, like honda and toyota. Lets them dominate Asia, but it doesn't give them the lead you would think due to lower profits.

If it's a French initiative it will be about sour grapes towards the USA

If it's a German initiative it will be working with technology like it's 1993
