Well you can't really make an anime about an actual loser who has nothing going for them. What story would they have? 12 episodes of laying around not talking and posting on /LULZ/? I guess you could do a decent one episode arthouse anime about a real loser that ends in them killing themselves, but you can't make a series out of that. Even Welcome to the NHK has the protagonist socially interacting with people and leaving the house.
There was an interesting episode of Boogiepop Phantom that reminded me of a LULZner who is in too deep, I think episode 4. Character that episode was a young adult wagie drug addict pervert who was addicted to VNs, kind of neat episode

I tried out Gabriel Dropout and Maid Dragon both when they were kind of fresh and relevant and I mean, they're watchable but I just don't quite get the hype.
I haven't watched Bocchi but it seems like she's got the "she's just like me" draw, but she's instead a popular and talented character
