How do I deal with this? I can’t see a hair underneath and it’s been like 1-2 weeks.

What’s the best way to deal with ingrown hairs?

If you shave, stop using a normal razor and get a oneblade.

            >are these better than a safety razor with feather blades?
Better as in won’t irritate your skin, yes. You’re not going to that perfectly smooth skin feel after you’ve used a oneblade, but you won’t nearly get as many ingrown hairs either. No matter how good you are with a razor you will end up causing little micro abrasions on your skin which is partly what’s responsible for ingrown hairs and razor bumps.

my issue with using a razor is no matter how many passes i do, i always have a bit of neck stubble left over, i’m curious to see whether this would clear those up better over my shitting shaving skills

same, when this happens just take a warm shower, pop it, and use tweezers. 9 times outta 10 there is a hair under there, but your skin has grown over it.

and if you’re shaving with a regular razor, don’t do it unless you do it every day. otherwise just trim

Dear god, I’m glad I dont have curly hair. Ive had an bad ingrown hair once or twice, and it sucked. Do something about it bud. Hot water compress, and them squeeze it out, and disinfect. Its gonna get worse before it gets better.

I popped an ingrown hair and ended up with a staff infection, even after proper cleaning. LEAVE IT. Your skin forms that pimple as a natural band aid. The hair will be dissolved overtime. DO NOT pop it and start digging around for the hair, your body can deal with it.

      >the hair will be dissolved overtime
Uh, not always the case. Sometimes the hair will remain trapped underneath the skin and will form scarred tissue

in these guys are getting small wigs pulled out from their pimples, which looks like accumulation of hairs that just built up over time

black peoples hair just has that issue anon, if you shave regularly look at the brand FUR. they make an oil against ingrown hair and its worked well for some of my friends before. other than that the rest here is right, hot shower, pop it then pull the hair out and clean the wound
