Situation feels dire in Canada bros.

What are we in for? People are feeling poorer, many cannot even afford coming in to work, and services all over the country are getting terrible.
What does the rest of this decade have in store for us? Will there be a massive protest on Canada Day? Please bros, every day seems more uncertain than the last.

not even kidding when I say this country will dissolve into anarchy before we hit 50M. Theres only so long we can import more bums than seats built before a significant number of people are forced out into the street in january and shit really hits the fan.

I cant overstate my hate for the schlop that is modern Tim Hortons

Well in the case of the NS shooting, the head of the RCMP is outright being accused of interfering with the investigation as it has now been found out she promised the government to use it as leverage to push their gun control agenda. There is a big thing going on with it right now about withholding information and interference to push an agenda, that directly put people in danger and got them killed.

Ill never get over how hilariously incompetent and ignorant of how the law actually works Trudeaus government has been.

All she had to do was not fucking say anything and there would be no story, while they could keep pushing behind closed doors

With how many blatantly illegal activites/charter violations this government has gotten away with, I guess they can afford to be

      >I can't afford to eat. Forced fasting isn't fun

I've been subsisting on a diet of rice and beans for the past few months, only occasionally buying ground beef and chicken.

There has been such an insane decrease in the quality of life that it's insane. I don't believe anyone could have ever thought that Canada could become like this.

I have no idea. You always knew the government was completely corrupt but, watching the parliament debates on gun control and the NS shooting makes you realize how complete that corruption is. This government is illegitimate in every sense of the word.

For most of the working population it's pretty bad. I think the only people here not struggling are government bureaucrats and boomers who cashed in on one of their real estate properties. I end up with a take home of around $4,000 every month, and a lot of it goes into helping my parents out. Groceries have risen so much in price it's insane, and I stopped using the car as much to save money.

I feel as if there is no way for me to improve my life situation, like I am just surviving.

I earn twice that and it’s bad. I called this shit early on and people much wiser than me laughed. I said that as long as I have a roof over my head and can eat and drink a coffee every day, that I’ll make it through this. I’ve reoriented my life from mindless pleasures to every day rituals, paring down needless activities and tuning out chatter. I don’t judge, I don’t complain. I ask everyone how their days are going and I thank them for asking me the same. A set schedule allows me to live alongside this madness without having to think about it. My existence is in standby, as I’ve removed myself from experiencing society to merely being alive at the moment. Quieting the mind is difficult. Exercise helps a bit here.

Worse things are coming. Mental preparation, setting realistic expectations for how your day can go, is just as important as actual prep work.

Based polite Canadian anon. I’ve taken up the alcoholic’s mantra, “One Day at a Time.” Buddhists have a saying, “Looking on the past makes you melancholic and invites sadness. Looking toward the future invites stress and anxiety. Concentrating on today brings peace and stability.” I reckoned that if alcoholics can stay away from booze by taking “one day at a time,” then it should work for surviving the horrors of Clownworld as well. So far, so good.

Okay, things are just weird from a burger perspective. I mean our last election was completely stolen and basically everyone knows it, so it’s fucked here too. I’m just wondering how the global dystopia we are in is affecting people elsewhere and it seems to be the same everywhere. We could really have the first global revolution in this century same as the First World War in the last

At my work they recently jacked the price of coffee from $1 to $1.35. Yesterday they took it a step further and reduced the amount of coffee the machine dispenses by 20%. Why are israelites like this?

Sorry canada. Every large western hemisphere country was founded as societal experimentation in methods of control. The new world was an excuse for old money power to try out different evils on its population. A population with no historical or genetic ties to the land they inhabit; unmoored spirituality and physically
