It is, it's the same 10 to 20(being generous) songs all day every day on any station, they treat it like the pop music stations on normal radio for some reason which are also awful and have even less variety. That's why shitloads of people still listen to normal classic rock radio stations.
If by normal radio you mean 40 minutes of globohomo mutt ice spice israelite propaganda every hour on the hour, then no. You’re wrong. Sirius xm has about 5 seconds of the station host saying some witty saying and then you hear music that actually varies for like an hour. If you think “nOrMaL rAdIO” (the most kiked modern entertainment format possible) is better than Sirius xm, then you’re terminally retarded.
It used to be pretty awesome. They'd have actual DJs live taking calls (I called in once & got on the air). Bluegrass channel, 90s on 9 was a party channel, rock had Boneyard, Liquid Metal, Ethel, etc.
Basically ALL radio went to corporate shit, programmed from far away to be carbon copies of each other for each market. A big time DJ I knew in Kentucky was programming director for years & years, Clear Channel bought them & eventually he's out of a job lol. "Local" news is the same way. Its all shit!

The local radio station here (Q107) used to be alright when I was a kid. I remember listening to full album sides and live shows. By the time I was 18 I couldn't stand listening for more than two hours because they would repeat the same songs from their playlist. Now 10 years later they've just given up and play the same crappy music as every other radio station owned by corus.
