I wish I were a gibbon; I yearn to brachiate through the canopies.
Primates still live in Eden, they have yet to taste the fruit of Knowledge (development of consciousness as a meta-organism) which damned us to suffering.

Gibbons and all kinds of non-human animals are conscious

I'm sure you have a source for this breakthrough discovery of consciousness in animals when we can't even figure out how to study the consciousness of humans

          Anonymous

It’s no breakthrough it’s well established that humans are conscious and that many animals are also aware of their surroundings, plan and consciously recall memories. Monkeys, wolves, coyotes, chimps, dolphins, elephants, shakes are not even missing any parts of their brain that we have. It’s just smaller. People are conscious at 3 and 4 years old, several species are more intelligent than 3 and 4 year old humans. Bonobos can be taught to use symbols to communicate with humans.

Genesis confirms evolution, beofre the Fall of Man, all animals were herbivores, after the Fall, half of the animals became/evolve into carnivores and omnivores.

Genesis 1:29-30, humans and the rest of animals were herbivores, because there was no sin, so there was no death (at least, animal, F for plants):

'29 And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.'

Was the "Fall of Man" before multicelular life existed?

Does Genesis confirm that plants existed before the Sun too?

Aside from everything else that you said which is wrong, the fact that evolution has to be discovered by scientists and no one gleaned evolution was real from the Bible shows that evolution actually isn’t in the Bible.

the earliest living organisms were lithotrophs. So they used inorganic material to survive. This was long before plants ever existed

Clarification: Idk believe in israelite psychedelic creation myth, but is funny how exist people that literally believe in that BS and reject evolution when that BS also proves that evolution happens. Aka, creationists = subhumans.

You can be a Christian without being a creationist. In fact, that's the correct way to do it, because it isn't very nice to live in a world where you have to either be an atheist or an Africa tier moron.

I almost respect creationists more because they’re actually taking the Bible seriously even though it’s fictional mythology. Other Christians don’t even believe the Bible but still want to identify as such

This almost feels like you're baiting creationists to say we can't how how old the ERVs are just so you can pull out the "ERVs predicted to come from older ancestors also happen to be more degraded" trap card.

      Anonymous

Everything you say is a trapcard when you’re right and the other person hasn’t integrated any knowledge on a subject learned since the early 1800’s

        Anonymous

True, but ERVs are especially trappy. It's like an argument from hell for the creationist, there's just no way out without invoking one or more of the following:
1)god/satan uses ervs to test/deceive us
2)the ervs naturally got there and acquired specific mutations against odds so low that the negative exponent alone would fill a moderately sized book
3)there is some random shit all over our genome that looks and acts exactly like an erv and can be turned into a functional retrovirus but somehow isn't an erv
4)ervs are made up, it's all a conspiracy
        5)god works in mysterious ways

It is considered Convergent evolution, Neanderthals have two genes coding for fat storage, one similar to mammoths and one "descended" from mammoths.

Evolution as a metric for creation fails due to the issue of genetic meltdown occurring due to an accumulation of mutations, none of which are positive but are only neutral or negative.
There is no "150mya" in reality, and this is empirically demonstrable as we can produce and observe a fraction of the number of generations and see the catastrophic failure manifest itself long before the number of generations would have elapsed were they carried out for 150m years.

Anon, this is specifically about endogenous retroviruses. Your usual tricks don't work on this one.

        >usual tricks
        ???
        >endogenous retroviruses
if they were passed like haplotypes they would be uniform, they arent uniform, therefore they arent passed on typical genes.
This is such a moronic argument, you could easily make a much stronger argument like
        >human Y DNA come from Monke Y DNA
        >'X' btfo
yet you dont, you cluster around a weaker argument because you are a leftist, and your leftism and anti-Christianity can only conflate in these rather poetically weak "arguments" and pseudo-proofs.

You would be better off just listening to me in particular and parroting what I tell you.
