if we shouldn't then God shouldn't have hardwired the desire into us along with the ability to achieve it

    >T. Mortal in the coil
You should seek inwards as nothing external to the conscious self is infinite. You're stuck in an illusion of a body that will die. You're not the body that dies, nor the suffering you frogposting homosexuals dwell on. Grow up and grow out of your false dichotomies into the real world. Life could be a dream, but you're stuck fixated on a nightmare you had (insert your age here) years ago

My life is a nightmare every day. I get terrorized, abused, harassed, threatened etc over the pettiest things imaginable like what snacks I buy, what I think/fantasize about, what video games I play, the hair color of the girls I like, the characters I like in tv shows/movies, etc. This world is fake and was created so that God could abuse and dominate me through everyone else in it because he controls everyone else. He created this world so that he could force me to live and self-identify as "a peasant" so that he could self-identify as "a king" by dominating and abusing me through everyone else. No, this world could never be a dream and that has been made explicitly, undeniably clear to me, this world will always be a moronic hell-world here I'm being abused and dominated by a moronic sadist through everyone else in it. And yes I literally am the "sole-suffer" of reality because God is the "sole-enjoyer" of reality, I'm the only one who suffers and he is the only one who gets to enjoy reality, so yes I literally am my suffering.

Sounds like you really derive a lot of personal value from your "suffering", anon. It's almost like it makes you feel special, and we all enjoy feeling special, don't we?

I place value on the truth you moronic homosexual. You force me to live my life as a miserable "peasant", abusing and dominating me literally forever every day, violently gatekeeping anything you consider good, then constantly spam threads where you claim that I have control over my life, that I chose my life, that I create my reality, all complete bullshit that you demonstrate to me is fake ever day, or you deny that I'm suffering after explicitly saying repeatedly that you consider yourself the sole-enjoyer of reality, or you claim that my life "isn't that bad", because it's not as bad as some fake made up people you invented but would never animate with your consciousness.

Sorry for being a dick. You seem pretty serious about this. Just curious, what exactly do you mean by living as a pesant? If you were to change your behaviors and attitude and try to live any other way would it cause you more, less or the same amount suffering you live with now?

Yes but it's good we won't get true immortality. Living an unknown amount of time and for hundreds or thousands of years sounds cool though. I'm pissed whenever we research anything but how not to die or how to have have more resources. Humanity's build is so sub-optimal.

I hate fiction this matter. "I have searched for immortality my whole life, but now that I see my family and friends die I realize it was a curse all along! Not once did I think, "hey whats gonna happen in 50 years?" My regret is a sign of DEEP emotional writing!

what is the end goal of science?

      Anonymous

there is no end goal. science is just a program that spits out well outlined reproducible experiments
unfortunately science's own pundits are rotting it from the inside by publishing work that can't be reproduced.

Depends on what is after life, but I probably would choose nothingness over living with humans for eternity
