No lies detected. Crypto is still spinning its wheels with retarded fly by night memecoin schemes. Smart contract platforms have been around long enough that synthetic commodities and stock exchange platforms should be commonplace. I thought the whole reason crypto existed was to put the financial instruments that the big boys use into the hands of the little guy. Shockingly little progress has been made on this front.

ETH is a shitty platform for all of this to take place, anyway. Its gas fees are fuckin absurd.

no, ~~*crypto*~~ was devised in response to bitcoin which was created to be decentralized money, and because bitcoin didn't die it's now the only possible decentralized money we can ever have. meanwhile ~~*crypto*~~ was created as a way to make money which then must exit the altcoin market into bitcoin, or exit the altcoin market into fiat, or gold, or some other investment.

some people got emotionally attached to their altcoins and now think they're on some journey of their own, when in reality valuation necessitates profit opportunity, and profit opportunity means exiting.

Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of bitcoins are owned by the FBI and US state (and affilitiated) insitutions. Let's not talk about random whales who hold enormous amounts of bitcoins for no discernable reason who create enormous volatility and the regular Joe is basically at their whims.

and every single altcoin, every single traditional asset from gold to the stock maket has a worse distribution than bitcoin.

    >anyone around the world can buy ethereum
    >only specific insiders were able to invest in open ai

even just based on that it's hard to compare the value of the two. what would open ai's valuation be if they did an IPO? and what would it be if it was as easy to buy worldwide as eth is? who the fuck knows. also chat gpt is not that impressive. defi is not that impressive either. but both have massive potential. and those use cases are just the two most well known functions of each platform, they both have more potential functions too.
