When did the phrase "send it" become popular. My coworker used it the other day and I didn't know what the fuck he was talkinfg about. Felt like a boomer. Did it start on TWitter?

No idea. Saw some other OOOOOOOOOOOOOO poster say it so I too start using it. Can't let myself be left behind by the cool boys.

What I want to know is why people started reffering to their portfolio as "bags."
      >I filled my bags with more X
      >my bags are packed

"Bags" are supposed to be something that weighs you down and only gets heavier as time goes on. A portfolio of GME is bags. That person would be a bagholder. Doesn't make sense to call your LINK holdings as "bags" when they are 300% from the bottom and you expect it to go even higher.

Bags is a 2017 term. I think it depends on perspective. If you are holding shitty alts then you have "bags that are weighing you down", if it's an upside situation then it's "dude i have bags of money".

Send it originated in "extreme" sports, was picked up by gaming (god knows why) and is now common vernacular.

When I was a young sniper this was said from the spotter to the shooter when he was ready for the shooter to make his shot. That was 20 years ago.

I am pretty sure it originates from starcraft when a player would 'full send' their entire army and even worker units to defeat the enemy in a single attack.

Been used in rock-climbing as far back as the 80s/90s (ascending to the top, sending it) .

We've said it for skiing and snowmobiling for like 20 years, when your all waiting at the top of the line about to go down. "SEND IT" and go hit a ski jump in front of your buds.

this. there's a meme video of a snow mobile guy saying send it before he hits a ramp and gets destroyed.
