it’s great if you win though
yeah it's great to go home and celebrate for the "enemies" you blasted in half and stabbed in the face, and drink to your dead friends who had that happen to them
industrial war and war without a martial culture and religion is senseless and unnecessarily cruel.
wars usually emerged in economical depression so... imagine Somali pirates who would climb a military ship.
Besides that, it is pretty masculine thing to do, it is a natural instinct to compete against other men. You are fighting a bloodless war just by living.
Yup. Whats so bad about that? Just dont die lmao
You'd die first, guaranteed
No one can guarantee who dies in war nagger.
Normie crowd dontrol mechanism.
God I hate these threads full of moralistic gay naggerishness and manipulation.
your dad should have beat you more
Ive been to war and here i am eating beans and drinking coffee.
Only the elites really win.
*for banks and finance
Post-industrial war is just the consolidation of resources. There is less sincerity in the alleged ideological or etc. causes of war waged by developed countries than ever at this point.
Everybody lost something in the great war.
Probably 22-23, everyone who glorified it was a troubadour that never set foot on a battlefield
Lmao
Lmao
Turbo onions redditors out in force today
Kys plebs
>nooooooooooo ur a troubadour D:
>killing people is... le good
the eternal middle schooler
Kys u are a child physically and mentally
>guys it’s bad when people are hurt 🙁
In any other era, I would be raping ur wife right now. Sad.
How very postmodern of you.
Trump lost btw
Did roman soldiers ever vote against going to war? I think it happened only twice
>hanging out with the lads
>getting paid
>working out, looking hot
>seeing dope new places
>opportunities to climb the social ladder
>one afternoon of having a really fucking shitty time if you lose
>all that booty when you, the Roman legion, inevitably win
>rape any cunt you see
>steal everything you can carry
>go home a literal hero
good thing WW1 was equally as awesome
The only truly justified and real wars were those of pre-agricultural societies.
Everything since has been fought to add zeros to some kike's bank account or an inbred king seething because his forefathers lost a patch of dirt to their neighbors ten generations ago.
Civil wars and revolutions are justified, it’s the only way society moves forward.
>Civil wars and revolutions are justified,
Only in retrospect, otherwise they are revolts that historians laugh at when they get put down by the status quo.
War is just resource dump.
Malthusian tranny nonsense.
When I read Bible and found out that murder is not accepted by Jesus.
murder is unlawful killing, jesus sanctioned lawful killing
Where in the Gospel does he sanction lawful killing?
when I read Bible I see God allowed and specifically ordered Israel to conquer pagans.
Church is New Israel.
But yeah, paganism is more promoting war because you get to destroy entire villages for loot and get participate in raptio (capturing and enslaving women) in non-Christian socirty. Bible doesnt allows unlawful actions even during war even though Israel did.
Christian nations have violated every law of war throughout history. The Middle Ages are a testament to the fact that a Bible based society is, ironically, not a peaceful one at all
What about the Middle Ages?
>Church is New Israel
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
“See, the home of God is among mortals.
He will dwell with them;
they will be his peoples,
and God himself will be with them;
he will wipe every tear from their eyes.
Death will be no more;
mourning and crying and pain will be no more,
for the first things have passed away.”
Very pro war message.
>OP experiences empathic awakening 7-8 years too late
The only people who actually like war are psychopaths and edgy teenagers online
>poor men and women freezing to death to serve the ego of shitheads in heated offices
Yeah
>at what age did you realize war is the most atrocious thing in the world and everyone who spoke fondly of it was a sheltered sociopathic cock sucker?
Probably around 10 years old tbh.
>at what age did you realize war is the most atrocious thing
The first thing I ever heard about war was that it was horrible. I went to a really progressive artsy school back in the 90s (for the younger people: progressives/leftists were really anti-war in the 90s). Even when covering 'necessary' wars like WW2 the teachers mostly talked about how propaganda made it out to be glamorous when in reality it was just a bunch of death. I remember one time they had some WW2 veterans come in to speak, this one guy complained that WW2 was boring and that he "didn't get to see any action," my teachers looked all befuddled lol.
>everyone who spoke fondly of it was a sheltered sociopathic cock sucker
Yes I think they should make it so that if you speak publicly in favour of a war you are immediately drafted to fight in it. One pro-war comment and BOOM! auto-enlistment, no physical or anything. I think then wars would only get support in situations when there were actual atrocities going on.
>war is the most atrocious thing in the world
that's life
>guys does anyone else think it is bad when people die fr no cap?
Guys people die literally every day, gruesome agonizing deaths, for no reason at all. Am I gonna walk into the hospital and start lamenting at how horrible it is? Lmao. They died for something. Who cares? Is it really so much more horrible to die from mustard gas than an industrial accident?
And are we forgetting that I literally do not give a fuck? You might as well be ranting at me that Ghenghis Khan was a bad guy. Wow. Very insightful bro
Did u know bad dudes, and bad things, can still sometimes produce good things? Truly unthinkable, I know
Yes. What the fuck kind of question is that? There's a difference between dying from cancer and someone deciding they want to deliberately kill people.
@14365588
bait
>country's best breeding stock all dumped into a meat grinder to serve the ego of a giant piece of shit
Fuck you, personalising pacifist cunts. Wars are never about ego. They're about income, wealth, trade, food, and opportunities to ensure it.
Not to mention that war is the motor of progress. Emancipation of women, abolition of slavery and serfdom, development of multiple dual purpose technologies like nuclear physics or field surgery - only God knows how long would it take for humanity to achieve all that without healthy portion of disasters and violence.
wars are never about anyone's ego.
Civilians, such as most of us, and people who have never been in war in general should not have opinions on war.
>Pro war side is msotly deranged teenagers who have had not hardship in life and to compensate want to die in a war
>Anti-war side is mostly made up of people being emotionally manipulated by cinema
Unless you've been at war you shiuld shut up about it.
It's no surprise wars became less popular among the first world as soon as we had mass video media, and the stories of valiant warriors were replaced with the reality of some poor unlucky bastard screaming on camera for all the people back home to see during their dinner.
Is war eugenic, dysgenic or neither?
Answer me this: you’re at war, who do you send to the front, you’re strongest and smartest or your cripples?
If you want to win you’ll do the former which means that you’ll lose some of your best genetic stock regardless if you win
Do you send your smartest on the front? And the dumbest as front line infantry meat shields?
>at what age did you realize war is the most atrocious thing in the world and everyone who spoke fondly of it was a sheltered sociopathic cock sucker?
Never experienced it, but I knew one guy who got to eat a pretty big meal of it, and he preferred to spend his free time tending to his flower garden and raising cats. I guess people deal with getting blown up and watching people get turned into hamburger in different ways.
One thing he said that stuck with me is that most people who experience war in the world don't have a choice in the matter, they're civilians who are in a market which gets hit by a suicide bomber or a missile. So the idea that you have to become a soldier to get some grand insight on the reality of war is bullshit.
There's a story in the NYT right now about Russian soldiers in Bucha who had killed civilians. There were a bunch of cameras in the neighborhood that filmed these paratroopers rounding up the young men in the neighborhood and shooting them in the head. That kinda thing happens in war, but there's also footage of an older woman on a bicycle who was heading home from work, and she turn the corner and there was a Russian armored vehicle that just immediately blasted her, blew her leg off, she died. The paratroopers were all young guys in their late teens / early twenties basically, just morons who probably weren't even told they were going to be fighting a war until they were given the orders to cross the border.
🙁
Sauce on the Bucha cameras? I had thought it was another obvious false-flag akin to Assad's "gassing his own civilians" shenanigans, but if there are cameras Id be very interested in checking them out.
war is fun
when i was 12-13
then i had an edgy phase around 17 when i thought the weak should fear the strong etc.
now im back to being rational
It’s true, I’ve never fought in a war and I probably never will. But there are objectively positive things that result from violent conflict.
Dying in war is a privilege.
it so happens you have a glorious opportunity to do that
